Another Saturday Op with 48MI (24 June).  By order of Grand Admiral Thrawn, the 48th Imperial Stormtrooper Division has landed to crush the festering insurrection on the island of Malden, while the Seventh Fleet has blockaded the planet to deny escape to the traitors or outside aid from the Rebel scum.  Imperial Intelligence has detected the limited presence of Rebel Forces goading civilians into open opposition to Imperial Rule.

Mission Objectives
1.  Crush the will of the civilian population to defy the Emperor.  Any open gatherings are declared hostile and are to be exterminated with extreme prejudice.
2.  Detect, target, and destroy Rebel Forces in the area of operations..
3.  Determine and destroy the source of the Rebel presence on Malden.

Mission Plan - The 48th will proceed by Hover-APC from the Military Spaceport in the northeast sector of Malden to the town of St. Louis.  Troops will deploy and clear the town, then pursue and eradicate any remaining Rebel presence in the AO.  Standard infantry weapons and equipment will be issued (no jet packs).  On-call fire support and logistics will be provided by Tie Fighters and air delivery.

The 48th Mechanized Infantry takes pride in being a friendly, active, international ArmA 3 clan of serious players [not too casual, not too milsim], including ArmA and military veterans and new players as well.  We value an immersive and exciting team experience and require enough ingame organization and discipline to get it.  A short bootcamp is required training and we provide medic, armor crewman and pilot training as well.  Every week on Saturday we have a clan op.
