Ark: Survival Evolved is one of the bad optimized games at the moment in steam. Every update devs try to fix these problems and increase frames but still on low/normal end computers it is really hard to play the game without frame drops or low fps, so i created this guide to help you out.

Instructions :
-nomemorybias - Reduces client game memory usage by about 600 MB system and 600 MB GPU RAM! (all meshes now stream LOD's dynamically). Removes the stuttering.

-USEALLAVAILABLECORES - The game will use all your CPU cores. Use it only if you have more than 2 cores. If you have dual core just don't use it because it may create stuttering !!

-lowmemory - Makes your game use less ram. If you have 8 gigabytes of ram still use it !!

-novsync - Turns off vsync 100%. For some people it removes stuttering.

-high - Runs your game in high priority.

USE THESE LAUNCH OPTIONS BELLOW IF YOU STILL CAN'T GET GOOD FPS
These settings will lower your game graphics hugely but increase your fps by +20

-sm4 - Runs your game in shader model 4 instead of 5. Same as running in DirectX 10.

-d3d10 - Runs you game in DirectX 10. Same as running -sm4 but still use both commands.

-nomansky - Removes clouds and some sky effects. Little graphic impact but some fps increase.

Just copy these settings to your game:
Game will look great. In this picture i use low resolution so thats why it so pixelated.
If you still get bad frames try to lower textures quality because it uses more vram.

• 1. Disk defragment - Optimizes your computer's drives and can help it run more efficiently. (Loads ark a lot faster)

• 2. Disabling background processes - You may get increase in fps around 10 fps if you do it correctly. This step is only useful for dual core CPU. You can use Razer Cortex or do it manually with a task manager if you understand on how to do it and what to disable because disabling windows processes may cause your computer to run into problems and system crashes.

• 3. Clean your computer - Increase your systems performance. I recommend using ccleaner because its really easy to use and fast.

• 4. Custom config - It may increase your performance by 10-20 fps but lower graphic settings. (grass, lighting, etc..)

• 5. Overclock your video card - Overclocking seems scary, but you might be stunned by how simple and safe the process is. No, your PC won’t explode. It may, however, be able to perform at clock speeds one generation above its release. That means big performance boost for almost no money! I recommend MSI Afterburner for overclock program.
  
  Warnings:
  - Don't change voltage it may cause problems !!
  - If did wrong it may damage your GPU

Clockblocker is a tool that prevents the r9 video cards from downclocking.
This means it will fix stuttering.
