I want to bring you another guide about getting gold and loot well before the end of the game, with some short grind!
It would be advised to bring a Thunder Ring and some Revive Potions with you as well, for some nifty bonuses!

So...

After you get the Thunder Ring and a tall character preferably with a shield, start it in Monster Town.
Leave the town at the upper left part, through the locked door. (It will be always unlocked by the time you acquire the Thunder Ring, so no worries!)











Inside the tower start climbing up until you reach the door with the small golden pyramid and enter.











Continue your journey to the right and enter the door.











Keep going left on the ground, through a few screens, until you reach the two wells and the Great Pyramid. Eliminate the pesky " deal-with-it" clouds with some arrows or just get through them and climb the pyramid.











Good work. Not much left. Now that you've reached the top, you'll have to descend on the left of this huge building until...











...You reach the goblin guard. Deflect his attack, punch him in the mouth and enter the door.











This is where the short grind starts for gold and loot.
The METHOD is to
1. deflect the guard
2. vanquish him and collect his gold (he drops gold between 25 and 35 or some other loot and power-up)
3. press UP to enter the door and
4. as soon as you enter that little room, press UP immediately to exit the room











5. turn LEFT into the direction of the respawning goblin to deflect his attack











6. defeat him and collect his gold/loot again
7. press UP to enter the room, then
8. immediately press UP, to exit the room
9. REPEAT THIS
10. Profit !!!

PRO TIP : It is good to bring the Thunder Ring with you, since it lets you to break the brown clay walls and you can do this in this small treasure room. You can check it if you have the Thunder Ring, on the right side of your inventory.











Break its walls and drop down to enter a huge treasure vault. In there you'll find 7 or 8 chests, sorry I was not counting, but you will find gold in the first (on the far left) and the last chest (on the far right). Between these two gold chests you can find tons of powerups to help you out on your journey. You can exit the treasure vault by pressing UP, but be very careful! As soon as you exit the vault, the goblin guard will be at your back, so defend yourself immediately.
The Revive Potions only help you, if you get sleepy at defeating the goblin guard outside and getting hit a lot.











ONE MORE TIP : When you deflect, defeat and enter the small treasure room, it saves you a few seconds, plus health and headache, if you look to the left, enter the door with the UP button and exit with the UP again, so you'll be facing towards the guard and don't have to recorrect your view angle from right to left and you won't show your back to the enemy the first time you come outside. You'll be facing him as soon as you exit the small room.

Turn the game's volume off, put up some of your preferred music and start looting.
