Hello fellow zombie slayers and welcome to this rather ultimate guide about Origins.

It will regroup:

In order to open PaP you will need to activate 6 generators scattered on the map. The activation sequence is similar to Revelation corruptor generators. Paying points will generate crusader zombies, endlessly coming to you until the generator is activated. You might kill them, but walking around is the best option.

Note that if no players are left in the area around the generator, it will slowly discharge. Once activated you are free to leave the are.

The generators are located:

• Generator 1 is in the first Bunker
  
  
  
  
  
• Generator 2 is outside the bunker when you open the door on the right from the spawn
  
  
  
  
  
• Generator 3 is up the trenches when going on the left side from the spawn
  
  
  
  
  
• Generator 4 is on the far left when going to the excavation site, from the big bunker between generators 2 and 3
  
  
  
  
  
• Generator 5 is on the right side when coming from the big bunker between generators 2 and 3
  
  
  
  
  
• Generator 6 is in the open space past the demolished Church
  
  

Once done, the Pack-a-Punch machine on top of the Excavation site will be assembled and available.




After a certain period of time, a squad of crusader zombie thugs will appear to disable the generators. Prevent them to do so.

In Origins the wonder weapon is an Elemental staff and there are 4 of them. Fire, Ice, Lightning and Wind. One for each player. To get them however, hitting the mystery box won't make it.

You will need 3 parts, a disk and a crystal to craft each staff. To upgraded it you will need to do a step in the Crazy Place, a second one in the real world. We'll explain that later on don't worry.

In order to start crafting the staffs, you will need two things.

Firstly, you'll need a black disk. It is located around the excavation site.

• On top of a small wall, near some crates, on the side facing the church
  
  
  
  
  
• On the left side of the Pack-a-Punch machine
  
  
  
  
  
• On the left of the wooden platform leading to the excavation site, right on your left coming from bunker between generators 2 and 3.
  
  

You will also need the gramophone, which will let you open portals, in order to get staff parts. It is located inside the excavation site.




Use now the grammophone on the table to open the stairs leading to the underground altars.

The three parts composing the fire staff are awarded by doing various things.

• One of the part will be available on the reward chest once you activated Generator 6
  
  
  
  
  
• The second one will ask you to shoot down a particular plane. Look at the skies, you will eventually see an orange glowing plane. Shoot it, it will drop a part down to the ground between excavation site and generator 4
  
  
  
  
  
  
• The last part will be dropped by the first PanzerSoldat you kill. (Round 8)
  
  

You will also need the red disk. It is located in various locations around the church

• On benches on your far left on first floor
  
  
  
  
  
• On boxes, right on your left when facing generator 6
  
  
  
  
  
• Behind the Tank bellow the church, you'll need to move the armored vehicle first.
  
  

Once you've got the three parts, head to the Fire portal, in the bottom of the tunnel, on your left when exiting the spawn. Place the Gramophone on the table and enter the portal.





Once in the Crazy place, reach for Juggernog tonight the fire altar. You will be able to pick up a fire crystal.




Head back under the excavation site and craft the staff on the alter of the same color.

Once the fire staff is in your hands, head to the Crazy place.

In the fire-themed area of the Crazy place you will find metal grids with jars near it. You need to kill zombies on those grids with the staff until the jars are filled.






Go to the church now, multiple symbols made of an addition of points are visible on the wall on the first floor, on the left side from the stairs. A group of those symbols will be glowing, following this picture (Thanks to www.Kronorium.com) it will give you numbers.





The numbers you'll get are linked to the torches in the tank's floor. You will need to shoot them with your staff following the previous code.



Your 2 steps are done, to complete the upgrading sequence, move to the "Preparation - Final upgrade stage for all staffs" part in the guide.

To craft the Ice staff you will need a blue disk, as well as 3 parts and a crysyal.

The disk is located in the Tank station near generator 2.

It can be either:

• On the table, right in front ot the entrance
  
  
  
  
  
• On a shelf, at your left when entering the bunker, next to a mystery box location
  
  
  
  
  
• On a shelf, at your right after the way leading to the roof
  

Concerning the parts for the ice staff, they are acquired all the same way. You need to use the shovel equipment on the piles of dirt around the map but you must dig only when it is snowing.






Each part will drop on each part of the map. Basically one in Thor's area, one in Odin's area and one in Freya's area of the map.

For more infos about the shovel and the digging spots, see the part bellow.


To get the ice gem, you will now need to use the blue record with the gramophone, to summon the Ice portal. It is located in the underground tunnel near generator 6. Once in the Crazy place, get the ice gem from the blue altar.





Then, head back under the excavation site and craft the staff on it's altar.

Once the Ice staff is done, you will be able to do its upgrade quest.

Head to the crazy place. Around the Ice portal, you will notice two things.

First, there are tiles floating above the area with symbols made with triangles and lines.




Second, there is an ice pillar nearby, with a symbol on it, this one made with circular symbols.




By using the following picture (Thanks to www.kronorium.com), you will need to shoot the tile above that is corresponding with the symbol on the pillar. Once a tile has been shot, another symbol will be highlighted.




Once done, you will need to freeze three graves with your staff, then shoot them with bullets.
They are located:

• In front of you, when going to the giant footstep where stands a soul chest, from generator 4
  
  
  
  
  
• On a side of the hill, between the excavation site and the first grave
  
  
  
  
  
• Outside the map near the destroyed Giant robot, near generator 2
  
  

Now that this is done, you can proceed to the "Preparation - Final upgrade stage for all staffs" part

The lightning staff will require 3 parts, a purple disk and a purple gem.

The three parts are located on platforms and high-grounds you can access only by getting on the tank.

• The first high-ground is located in the first half of the tank's path, between the church and the tank station at Generator 2. You need to jump on the wooden platform on your right then going forward, the part is in the giant's footstep
  
  
  
  
  
  
• The second place you need to reach is on the second part of the tank's travel, on your left when at the level of the excavation site, you need to jump on a wooden platform. The part is in the following cave
  
  
  
  
  
  
• The last spot is just before entering the church again, you need to jump on the ground to your right
  
  

With a bit of practice and Stamin-up, you could get the second part and climb back on the tank just in time to get the third part.


About the purple disk, it is located around generator 4.

• On a wooden chariot cart between generator 4 and excavation site
  
  
  
  
  
• On a table between Juggernog and a Wunderfizz machine
  
  
  
  
  
• On a metal machine on the right of the Wind portal, in the tunnel descending near generator 4
  
  

For the purple gem, you must use the lightning portal which is located next to generator 5. Place the gramophone, enter the crazy place and pick up the crystal on the purple altar.






Then just go back bellow the excavation site to craft the staff.

Now that you've got the lightning staff, head back to the Crazy place. Around the lightning area, you should see multiple purple triangles arranged like a piano keyboard.




Following this picture (Thanks to www.kronorium.com), you will need to shoot at the triangles with the staff. Enter the first sequence (136), then wait a little bit and enter the second (357) and finally enter the last one (246).



Once done, head back to the battlefield. Several metallic pannels are scattered around the map. They have a small cursor you can interact with to change its position.


They must be pointed using the following order:

• In the tank station, near generator 2 needs to be set Down
  
  
  
  
  
• In the spawn, down the stairs needs to be set Left
  
  
  
  
  
• Near the wind tunnel's entrance at generator 4 needs to be set Up
  
  
  
  
  
• In the church, first floor needs to be set Up
  
  
  
  
  
• Under the church, behind the tank needs to be set Right
  
  
  
  
  
• Around generator 5's broken house, needs to be set Down
  
  
  
  
  
• On a wall of the Mound facing the church, needs to be set Up
  
  
  

A sound should play to hint you that every pannel stopped sparkling. You can proceed to the "Preparation - Final upgrade stage for all staffs" part.

Same song than before, you'll need 3 parts, a crystal and a yellow record.


The 3 parts are quite easily obtained, they are located in the head of the three giant robots. Thor, is moving in a line crossing generator 1 / 2 / 3, Odin moving from generator 5 to 4, and Freya accessible only via the church, near generator 6





To access the robot, you must look bellow their feet. One of the foot will be lighted by multiple lights. When shooting those lights, it will "open" the foot and you will have to let the giant smash you beneath his opened foot.



Don't worry if you opened the door, you will survive and be propulsed to his head before being evacuated after a short time.
The spots where the giant robots walk are symbolized by big rectangular holes in the ground.





About the yellow disk, it is located around generator 5.

• On the wall next to Stamin-up
  
  

Using this disk and the gramophone, you must go down the tunnel near generator 4 to go get the wind crystal.






Just go back under the excavation site and craft your wind staff on its altar.

With the wind staff in hand, head to the crazy place. Right above the teleporter, is a stone disk separated into 4 circles.




Following this picture (Thanks to www.Kronorium.com), you must arrange the circles in a certain order. Shoot them with your staff until the symbols on the left are in the highlighted line.






Once done, head back to the main area of the map. 3 chimney will be smoking, you will have to shoot them with your wind staff in a way that the smoke heads towards the excavation site.

Basically just make sure the chimney is between you and the excavation site, then shoot it.

They are located:

• Near generator 4, between Juggernog and Wind portal's entrance
  
  
  
  
  
• In the No Man's Land area near the church, on the opposite way from where the tank moves
  
  
  
  
  
• Just on the left of Stamin-up near generator 5
  
  

Make sure the smoke is redirected towards the excavation site, and not in a slightly altered direction. A sound should play.

Proceed now to the "Preparation - Final upgrade stage for all staffs" part.

Once your dedicated quest is done, a ray of light should be emitted from the excavation site.




Head back there. Above the 4 altars stands 4 stone circles, with a colored ball, depending of your element. You firstly need to use 4 levers in the underground, to rotate the stone circles.




When moving them, you'll notice they have got 4 positions, linked with colors. (Red -> Fire, Blue -> Ice, Purple -> Lightning and Yellow -> Wind). You need to match all rings to the color of the staff you want to upgrade. When all rings are matched, shoot at the colored ball in the center with the staff.





Finally, head to the crazy place and put your staff in the altar, above the orb you just teleported. You'll need to kill zombies to fill it. It will eventually be upgraded and you will be able to take it back.

Firstly you will need to have those prerequirements:

• All 6 generators activated
  
• One Inch Punch (Step 6)
  
• G-Strike (Step 3)

The steps are named the same way the steps are in the mission "Vorkuta" in Call of duty Black Ops 1 campaign.



Craft and upgrade all the 4 staffs. This will take time, check the parts above to do this.



You should now notice that a fifth receiver has appeared in front of the excavation site's altars. Three other receivers have spawned as well in the giant robots heads. You must place all 4 staffs in these altars to complete the step.

To see how to enter the giant robots heads, check the wind staff part.

• The fire staff needs to be placed on the excavation site receiver
  
  
  
  
  
• The ice staff needs to be placed into Freya's head
  
  
  
  
  
• The wind staff needs to be placed into Odin's head
  
  
  
  
  
• The lightning staff needs to be placed into Thor's head
  
  

Once done the staffs should respawn and be able to pick up bellow the excavation site, where you crafted them.





Now you have to reach generator 5 area. You will need to throw a G-strike outside the map on a stone tile. But before this, you need to press a red button inside a robot's head.

In solo, you need to go into Odin's head and press it, then you'll have limited time to do your thing. In multiplayer however, you can wait in front of the tile when someone else presses the button.







You need now to send the Maxis drone (Check part bellow) into the hole. It will release a hole bunch of PanzerSoldaten which you need to take down.





You will need to use a Zombie Blood bonus for this step. While in zombie blood, you will see a glowing plane similar to the one you saw to build the fire staff. Take it down.



Now, an invisible zombie will run around the excavation site clockwisely which will be only visible in zombie blood. When you find him just kill him, he will drop the maxis drone, pick it back up.

(This is from the theater mode, without zombie blood you will only hear the zombie and not beeing able to see / kill him)







You need to equip the One Inch Punch which is an upgrade of your standard melee attack. Check the dedicated part in the guide.

Head back under the excavation site, besides the staff altars. Crusader zombies will come at you, with light mist around their arms. You must hit zombies with your fist to make the mist disappear. Once it is gone you can freely kill them.



When done, a stone tablet will drop. Picking it up will upgrade your fist. Every player must upgrade their fists.





Head to the Crazy place. Simply but no easily, you must place all the staffs on their elemental altars in the crazy palce, then killing a lot of zombies. When done, you will eventually have a white flash on your screen and beeing able to take the staffs back.

(Sorry for the visual glitches, blame the theater mode)






Still in the crazy place, you need to send maxis drone up on the roof. Once it is gone into the portal, all players must stand in the middle and press action, to end the game and to watch the ending cutscene.

If you already know the steps, this can help you remember the order of the things you have to do.

To get the G-strike equipement, which act like the dragon strike from Gorod krovi, you will have to obtain and clean a stone tile. It is located in the Tank station near generator 2. On a table stands 4 stones tiles with a fist on it. Pick one up.




Go now to the church, on the first floor there is a bassin with water where you need to place your stone.




You will be asked to do melee kills on zombies, either with knife, upgraded staff, shield, or One inch punch. (See part bellow)



Once done, you will need to bring the stone back where you found it but wait ! You need to avoid mud at all cost. If you walk into mud, the stone will be fillthy and you'll need to clean it again.





To do so, get back to around the excavation site and make sure to jump on the wooden planks when you are on giant footsteps. Go to the workshop bunker (After gen. 2 - 3), then enter the tank station via the generator 2.

Once placed back, melee kill zombies again until it's done. You will see a glowing G-strike equipment hovering above the table.





Doing this grants the G-Strike only for this player. If this player exchange the g-strike for monkey bombs, g-strike will be available from the mystery box.

Maxis drone is a flying shooting follower who can also do various task for you. (See the main EE guide)

To craft it, you will need:

Maxis brain:
Always located on the table next to the spawn.




A rotor:

• In a corner on top of the excavation site
  
  
  
  
  
• In a corner near the gramophone spawn
  
  
  
  
  
• On a crate, near a torch, on a wooden platform down the cave
  
  

A metallic frame:

• In the left mud's path from the church
  
  
  
  
  
• In the right mud's path from the church
  
  
  
  
  
• Down the tunnel leading to the Ice portal near generator 6
  
  

Then, just craft it on a table, either on wind or lightning tunnel, or t he church's underground.

The One Inch Punch is an upgrade to your melee attack. To obtain it, you must fill 4 chests located in 4 different giant robot footsteps.

You just need to kill zombies around it, however if a giant robot walks on the chest, you will need to restart the process. When a chest is done, it will disappear, saving your progress. You should be focusing on one chest at a time.

The chests are:

• In Odin's footstep near generator 5
  
  
  
  
  
• In Odin's footstep near the excavation site
  
  
  
  
  
• In Odin's footstep near generator 4
  
  
  
  
  
• In Freya's footstep between the church and the excavation site
  
  
  

Once all chests have been filled, a challenge has been completed, you only need to pick up your One Inch Punch on a reward chest, there is one on the spawn and another one near generator 6.


Note that it is possible to upgrade the fists with the main easter egg quest.

The zombie shield is like many things, separated into three parts.

The first one can be located:

• In the room on the right, between the Spawn and generator 2
  
  
  
  
  
• On top of the tank station near generator 2
  
  
  
  
  
• On a dead body, at the end of the trench, past generator 2
  
  

The second one might be:

• Next to the Fire portal, at your left when coming from the spawning area
  
  
  
  
  
• In a small room, on your right coming from the spawn towards generator 3
  
  
  
  
  
• Near a dead body, bellow generator 3, before the workshop bunker's entrance
  
  
  
  
  The third piece is located:
  • In the robot's footstep, between generator 5 and the excavation site, church side.
    
    
    
    
    
  • In the robot's footstep, between generator 4 and the excavation site, church side.
    
    
    
    
    
  • In the robot's footstep, behind generator 4 where stands a soul chest.
    
    
    
    
    Now, simply craft the shield on a crafting table, located inside the wind and lightning tunnels, or the church's basement.
    
    

You can find shovels in Origins in various interior rooms. Some examples are the bunker at the beginning or at the entrance of the Wind tunnel.






With the shovel in your pocket, you can use it to dig small pile of skulls. It will give you weapons, zombies, grenades, or even ice staff part.

They are located all around the map and are commonly visible.






For the ice staff parts, you will dig one in Thor's patrol, one in Odin's and another one in Freya's. (Basically starting part of the map, middle area, and then church area.)




However note that you must wait the weather to be snowy to dig staff parts.





Eventually, by digging up 30 dirt piles, your shovel will turn into a golden shovel, giving you overall best outcome from the piles. Keep digging with your golden shovel and you will eventually find a golden helmet. This rare equipment will protect you against the giant robots feet. Moreover you will look pimp as hell.




Another cool thing is that in zombie blood, you will see (if you've got the golden shovel) red glowing dirt piles. By digging them you might find empty perk bottle, acting like Unquenchable gobblegum.

They are located at tens of fixed locations, not respawning when you used one.

Two boxes (One at generator 1 the other at generator 6) displays you the progression of 4 challenges. Each one of them will grant you a reward you will need to pick up on one of the two chests.

• Perform 115 Headshots
  
  Easily done, will grant you a Pack-a-Punched rifle. Needs to be headshots on normal zombies, not electrical ones nor Panzersoldaten.
  
  
• Activate 6 generators
  
  This doesn't need you to activate THE 6 generators, but to succesfully activate 6 of them. Understand that if a players activates 5 generators and the second player activate the last, the first player will need to wait for a crusader squad to deactivate one of them.
  
  Will grant you a Max Ammo
  
  
  
• Spend 30.000 points
  
  Requires time. Will reward you with Double Tap perk
  
  
  
• Fill the 4 soul chests up
  
  Not really hard either, will grant you with the One Inch Punch melee upgrade.

Activating generator 1 will provide you a zombie blood bonus in the first chest.
Activating generator 6 will provide you with a fire staff part.

To activate Origin's secret song, you must interact with three green 115 meteorites.

• Next to the challenge box in the spawning room near the door leading to the fire portal
  
  
  
  
  
• Bellow a bed in the workshop's bunker first floor

The second secret song is activated via 3 broken radios on the map.

To activate this song, you must interact with three numbers painted on the ground near the generators.

Press the "1" from the generator 1, and the "5" from the generator 5.










To activate the music, the generators must be powered up.

To activate this Zombies Chronicles easter egg you must first of all have the 4 standard staffs crafted.

Head now under the excavation site. Use each staffs to shoot on each side of the lowest stone circle. You willl shoot them following this:






Once done, head to the Crazy place, a samantha doll will be near the main blue basis. Interact with it, then shoot the other dolls.





Finally, a last doll will raise upon the sky, giving you your reward.

You can, with the help of the Maxis drone, obtain a free Pack-a-Punched MG08/15

To get it, you will have to move the drone near 4 locations where stands circular targets. The drone will pick them up.

You will eventually have to recharge the drone.


The targets are spotted:

• On a broken floor of the church, accessible above the arch from where the tank exits.
  
  
  
  
  
• On a platform, above the excavation site, on the site facing generator 5
  
  
  
  
  
• On a wooden plank near generator 5
  
  
  
  
  
• Inside a crumbled burning alley located right after the spawn, heading to generator 2
  
  
  

Once done, the drone will drop a PaP-ed machine gun in front of the Pack-a-Punch machine.

Generally for the main easter egg quest, or simply in the game, a zombie blood is always usefull.

You can simply generate one on top of the excavation site by extinguishing 3 burning wooden cart in the center of the map, with the ice staff.

• Near the MP40 wallbuy, coming from the workshop bunker

• Near an Odin's footstep, between the site and generator 4
  
  
  

If you were quick enough, a Zombie blood will spawn in a corner on the excavation site. If not, it means the fire lighted up again, just try again faster.

Difficulty: Moderate to Hard

Horrible to do with all the glitches that can happen, requiring a hellish luck but with good strategy and team, achievable.

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

Not very hard, only drawback is that your game will be long.
