Yes. As I remember, it was Tyapp's mod. He modified some files that include those modes.

Ah no luck with the arena modes, unfortunately they all just crash the game. xD

This is what they were called though:
Golden Axe
Crazy Conga
Target Smash
Tilt
Jet Set Tag
Shinobi

I wonder why they never added these modes.

I'm amazed it even worked lol, btw I found some hidden arena modes, not sure if they work though.
