Tired of long time recruitment and can't use the recruitment cheat If you know it,

For Windows: C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\Data,

For Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold\Data

go to export_descr_unit and open it, If your using Notepad go to Edit tab and press Replace, Type in the Find What "stat_cost 1" then go to Replace With and type "stat_cost 0" If you like you can copy and paste from Find What to Replace With but change the number to 0 in the Replace With, also once done the 1 in the Find With change number to 2 and Replace With 0 do the same with 3, also copy the whole "stat_cost 0" just to be sure it must stay spaced in order to work. ENJOY!


Make a Backup of export_descr_unit, also this works on Barbarian Invasion

Cheats are Included here but not many I'm afraid, Only works in Imperial Campaign & Barbarian Campaign.

press the (`) key in the World Campaign to open the Console to use the cheats.

add_money (AMOUNT) don't add the Brackets just add the amount of money you want, also you press the Arrow Up to show the Cheat Command after you pressed Enter, its better the Copy and Paste.

process_cq (CITYNAME) this cheat allows instant build but works after you pressed the building you want to construct, if you jave a full list of the construct queue no matter just use Cheat Command and away you go

Are you tired of playing on the Campaign with the setting Arcade Style Battle on and not able to set your army up before you start the battle, well right now I got it right here to show how its done without having the Arcade Style Battle on.

Go to C:\Program Files\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold or whatever Hard Drive you have the game installed and then go to Preferences.

Next thing you do now is open the Text Document called preferences.

You'll see a Highlighted Area where it says LIMITED_AMMO:TRUE.

and then next final thing is you change it to LIMITED_AMMO:FALSE.

And that's it! you finally got Unlimited Ammo I hope it works on other Ranged Units because so far I seen Archers and Hastati use the Ammo and No Problem, there is other configs above the LIMITED_AMMO like Morale and Fatigue it might be useful to prevent our Army from becoming tired, Good Luck everyone its time to RTW!
