Air Missions of War v1.2

Air Missions of War / AMoW is a mod updated from Airstrike MP mod. It aims to make "Air Support" implemented in Men of War: Assault Squad 2. The "Air Support" consists of aircrafts and lots of pertinent mechanism. It works with SP & MP now.

The newest version: v1.2. Delete the old version pls.

• 4 types of warplanes for every faction: Fighter, Strike Fighter, Attacker, Tactical Bomber.
  
• Smart AI scripts for different type of warplanes.
  
• Realism warplanes weaponry & behavior.
  
• Totally reworked aircraft damage mechanism. Warplanes are hard to be shot down from ground but AA fire can lower air strike accuracy even drive out the attackers.
  
• Planes behavior is related to enviorment.
  
• Complete warplane units (With names, icons, infomation and so on).
  
• Optional MP unit mode: With timed-receive aircrafts or with buyable aircrafts.
  
• Players can designate air strike targets by shooting a yellow flare.
  
• Mod works with vanilla SP missions & MP maps.

• Fighter. The main mission of a Fighter is Air Superiority. When you call in a fighter, it will engage enemy aircrafts at will. If enemy dont have any aircraft, it will also try to perform a scout mission, i.e. seek enemy ground units for you.
  
• Strike Fighter. Strike Fighter is a fighter with ground attack weapons. It is not agile as fighters but will also fight with enemy aircrafts if they exists. Of course it will do better in air strike.
  
• Attacker. An Attacker (Include dive bomber) is an aircraft focuses on destroying ground targets. It has good armor and will only attack enemy ground units your troops see. You can also designate target for it by controling a FAC. But be careful, its easier to be shot down by enemy Fighters.
  
• Tactical Bomber. Tactical Bombers will drop bombs on the designated position (You will need a FAC to do so) if they were called in. But they are easy targets for fighters & heavy AA guns (e.g. 88mm Flak).

"Planned" means may become the replacement in the future.

• Add more warplanes.
  
• Add more fx (e.g. AA shell explosion smoke) and sounds.
  
• Add smoke grenades and smoke tank gun shells which can designate air strike targets.
  
• Add Killstreak to MP.
  
• Make addon versions for GSM & Robz.
