How to Fix
I originally posted this fix on the Steam forums way back in 2010. Moving this to a guide now that the old forums are dead.

This will fix the problem with missing sounds on the Imperial Raxus Prime and the Death Star levels.

This problem is specific to the Steam version of the game. I found the solution simply by comparing the Steam version's files to the retail disc version. This fix just replaces some apparently incomplete level files from the Steam version with ones from the disc version.

  1. Download the file from one of the sources listed in the section below.
  2. Unzip with 7-Zip.[www.7-zip.org]
  3. Move/copy the unzipped files into the folder listed below, choose to overwrite the existing files when prompted.
<your Steam install folder>\steamapps\common\star wars the force unleashed\LevelPacks\

Note: This is not a fix for the problem where music only comes from the front left speaker on 5.1 setups. That is a separate issue that affects all versions of the game and has no known solution apart from changing your Windows or sound card speaker settings to Stereo. It seems that Aspyr support, in their incompetence, is (or was some years ago...) erroneously directing people to this fix for the 5.1 music problem - this will not fix that.

PS: I uploaded this file to FileFactory many years ago when it wasn't quite so bad. I added a few more sources now. Anyone is welcome to re-upload to a better file sharing service if they know one, and post a link in the comments. Readers - just exercise a little caution when downloading from elsewhere. There is no executable or anything you should need to run. You just need to unzip some content files into a directory, so if what you download includes anything you need to run, it is not legit.

This is nuts... For me Juno's and Starkiller's voice are literally not playing while playing. During cutscenes they are okay, but during gameplay, nothing, just the subtitle. I downloaded from an "other" site, patched it manually to v1.2 and working flawlessly. WTH is this?

I have the problem that on the laptop of my father that the in level voicelines from juno and starkiller are not hearable and or are not even played at all despite the subtitles being triggered, but on my pc it works just fine.

They work great, but is anybody else experiencing insane graphical glitching and artifacting on the last level? (the Green lenses particularly, bugging out and seeing through the level and 4 fps when facing towards them)

I am almost certain this has something to do with AMD GPUs as i have also been getting crashes that corrupt my drivers, but only on the last 2 levels. Never crashed once on any earlier level.

Dangit, i just want to 100% this game lol
