Hahaha good story! :D

Our travel to there was rather "exciting". In the morning we watched the 1815 reenactment in Waterloo, then drove to Saint Mère Eglise where we arrived at the evening. Wanted to eat something, but there was almost nothing open anymore. It was easier to get a rusty MG 42 than a Pizza... That evening we met only very few strange people, for example a drunk irish guy and some americans who looked like male strippers (which is not necessarily a bad thing ;-) ) . The next morning the ragtag bunch of people (including me) waited in front of the Airborne museum... Haha, was so funny to see them all again... and the irish guy even sobered up. ;-)
Afterwards I tested my wife`s patience in visiting each museum on our way to Paris. Of course I had to do the extended window shopping tour with her there... But I got my vengeance AGAIN when we visited so many WW1 places and forts on our way back to Germany. :-) Haha, good memories...

My fourth time already. Yesterday we went, again also, to Saint Mère Eglise. It never gets boring. Best museum: Dead Man's Corner near Carentan. A must visit!

I have been there , awesome
