Strategy Tactic Types
Once the great Sun Tzu said,
Know Your Enemy

First of all,
It is essential to analyze what kind of style your opponent is playing.
There are 2 general types of tactics:

Infantry Spam
Only has Infantry: Rifle, Assault, AT, MG, Sniper
Or they have ONE VEHICLE / most likely Tank hiding behind their filthy sleeve so Watch out !!!

Mixed / Defensive
Usually 3 Infantry: Rifle / Assault, AT, MG and 2 Vehicle: Light, Medium / Heavy

B..Bu..But.. How do I know which units they have beforehand, Sir?

Let me tell you, you piece of meatshield and Don't ever call NCO a Sir ever again if you don't want to be Shark-Attacked.


You have pre-battle screen here.
One tip is to look at what Operation the opponent has.
You read the description and will give you an idea what the player's superior to.
If the opponent were to be actual player,
you can expect the player to play a strong vehicles with fire supports.
** You can also arrange first 3 cards by burning those you don't like **

There are very few occassions where opponent fools you with faking Operations, but the chances are very slim.
Thus, don't you worry about that.
Here are few examples.


** Please note that the indicated time for a certain operation card may have ± .50 seconds difference.

Defensive Oriented Operations




Structural Improvements
Lot of maggots overlook the potential danger behind this one.
It gives 300 HP !!!
You Must scratch their HQ wall before the time runs out !!!




and of course,
you have to monitor which units they are deploying.
There are many infantry spam players who tend to use 4 infantry units and ambush you with hidden Tank card at the end.
Also keep the look out for spawn unit cards.

The Key to win the battle is...

Know when to preserve AT and precious vehicles
Dub-Step aka Evading Nades
So now that you know the enemy like good old Art of War taught you,
It is time to control your units a Dub-Step !!!

What is that on your face? A Grin? You thinking this is some kind of joke maggot?
Oh let me show you how this Dub-Step will save your life on the battlfield.

Many of you realized how fatal the grenades are as you may have been exploded countless times.
This Dub-Step will avoid grenades behind your butt.

When in cover, the chance of getting your butt shredded is 100%

So...

you leave the cover !!!! D:
the chances of getting medieval up your butt is less than 50%

BUT !!!

If you are behind orange cover, you have to leave even before enemy is pulling the pin out of grenade.
If a grenade explodes while you are jumping over the fence / sandbags,
the fence / sandbag gets destroyed along with your lovely minions.
If you were jumping over the green cover, your minion may survive.
So if you can leave the cover beforehand, go for it or else you might as well stay behind the cover and cross your finger.

OMG this is amazing Dub-Step !!!

Is there anything else to it Sirrrr.. I mean Sergeant ??

Of course there is !!!


While both of you are in motion, the first throw is a Big Miss.
** Both Assault and AT were in motion before engaging and Assault threw grenade first and see how much the first throw is RIP Aim. Circle indicates where AT was stationary. Even without AT taking cover, AT would have survived the nade. **

If both are stationary, the Hit is 100% yet again.
** MG has longer range than Assault. So MG stopped to shoot at Assault. Being stationary.
I will censor the fate of MG. **

BUT !!!

If you happen to be near an unoccupied cover, you gotta thank Bruce Almighty for giving you the chance.

Go behind the cover !!!! D:
** Rifleman would have died as they were being stationary, but before the nade landed at their feet, the opponent was smart enough to activate the cover to dub-step away from the nade.

Please note, other infantries can also equip nades !!! D:

Nein!!! That’s unfair !!!

Well, at least they throw less and there is a fixed short range for throwing.
Meaning if Sniper has grenade, they will keep shooting sniper rifle, not move upto enemy to throw nades.

With a few control of your minions, you will save hundreds of lives.
Essence of Time
This is great !!! I feel like I can win finally !!!

Not so Fast lowling. You still have to understand the fundamental system of how the battle unfolds.


The battle length is max 15 minutes long and It will be the most intense 15 minutes of your low life.

You see the inevitable nightmare of tank coming from the opponent's base.

Goodness !!! What am I supposed to do ???

Should I wait to deploy tank? AT?
Save Points for Fire Support ???


Alas.

The fast movers take 30+ seconds to reach your base
while slow movers take 30~40+ seconds.
1 Command Point takes 12 seconds.
Check your timer on units and command.

Make your best decision to survive.
Short-Cut keys

Yup there are short-cut keys.

12345 QWE ZX is to look at Supply Asset and Operation Card, but I don't think you would ever use them :P

In the midst of battle, you will realize how important the short-cut keys are !!!
and try to use mouse over the map-scroll on the top of the screen !!!

Man, I should have used photoshop instead of MS paint, but I don't feel like investing that much of time into it !!!

Oh and don't mind the invisible assault units.
Unit Description and Equips
Now that you know the basic of how the game works,
it is time to know the rock, paper, scissors of units.

Let's begin with


Rifleman

Our Good Meatshield.
A single Rifleman is no good just like Guardsmen from Warhammer 40K series.
United we stand, Divided we fall.
At least they can deal with our sneaky Sniper.

Priority target: Closest Infantry > Vehicles

** These are recommended equip buy list. You may disagree with some equips as some equip has a great consequence of reducing reinforcement and / or increasing timer significantly.
















Assault

This marathoner is pretty strong despite of short range.
A single good controlled can defeat any of 2 infantry. Use of Dub-Step is a must.
This is a real Man we are talking here.
So this guy does not know the definition of defense. He is only looking forward to the path of Victory.
They can be a good meatshield in an emergency, but they will not retaliate in cover due to short range.

Priority target: Closest Infantry > Vehicles















AT

This guy will save you the day, but they sometimes act like a little Nanny ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
He is only good when hiding behind a cover or vehicle. or else he will be shredded into pieces.
Generally speaking,
2 AT can stop Light Vehicle (Gaz/HMMWV).
4 AT can stop almost all vehicles including tank !!!,
but opponent will play fire support and other infantry to kill you.
Secure a good defense position.
For the maximized vehicle killer, ALWAYS align ATs altogether.
and preferably place them on the Second line of Defence as their range is shorter than vehicles.
Have a meatshield on the First line of Defence.

Priority target: Closest Mid/Heavy > Light Vehicle > Infantry

(Left) M17, FGM (Right)Default
** Primary weapon range increase does not affect on AT range.
















MG

Our Almighty Meatshield!
With a skill of entrenched, He can take lot of things you throw at him !!!
He will not move an inch and take it like a man until death !!!
Generally speaking 2 MG can deal with 4+ Rifleman.
Though, he is no immune to grenades so watch out.
And boy, he can sustain lot of fire power from Heavy Vehicles.
He will buy you some time so use them wisely.

Priority target: Closest Infantry > Vehicles

















Sniper

Our sneaky shooter.
Generally speaking US sniper has longer range than our poor Ruskies.
There can be 2 types.
Long range to intimidate infantry in distance, or
Superior Short range machine gunner.
WAS?!?? Was meinst du a Machinegunner????
There are equips that shortens the range, but increases fire rate.
Oh they will kill any close range infantry pretty quick even MG if lucky.
Do not underestimate the daka daka.
It can even stop assault unit if played right.

Priority target: Closest Infantry > Vehicles
** AT weapon does not change the priority
















Light Vehicles

They are fast and can deal with more infantries than you can imagine.
Though, lack of health is vulnearable to even mortar fires.

** Note that the hit number is not absolute. It is depending on a weapon equip and a type of armor. There is ± 1 or 2 hits.

Priority target: AT > Light Vehicle > Infantry > Closest Mid/Heavy

Medium Vehicles

A Good Muscle to the military !!!
Decent Fire Power with Decent Defense.

TANK !!!

It's a tank after all.
Our Ruskies found a way to have a better range than US tanks !!!
Though, US has better Fire Power in general.

Wait, but how do I know which gear is best for me Sergeant?

Son, you go to Unit Unlock page and Click items to compare them all !!!
Though, it does not show the number of reinforcement, how much +- effect in cover / open, rate of fire, and aim time.

Oh and don't be fooled by general information about the gear stat.
Sometimes a stat not shown in the description is still affected.
e.g. US Assault CQB Kit: +Health -Aim Time +Resupply Time.
But it also decreases range quite significantly. Check the graph not lie-filled ill words !!!

Click on any items to compare the stats. It works only on the equip section bars, not the default tier lists of gears.
Good Cards
Wow, Now I feel like I am really ready to take some wins !!!

In order to win the battle, you have to know how to deal with Heavy Vehicles.
Some may only play Infantry spam, but most likely you will face TANKS,
and failing in stopping a tank WILL reasult in defeat amigo.

While stopping infantry spam is more depending on critical timing of unit deployment,
vehicle spam is heavily depending on card decks.

Use good cards on the RIGHT TIME

This is where the card will change the course of the battle and I will tell you some good cards
and YOU WILL USE THEM PROPERLY

** This section is very subjective. You may agree / disagree. **



Good Cards

Defensive Doctrine
** This is Operation card btw
It will make your infantry last pretty damn long including AT.
AT can sustain heavy fire for some time.





Eliminate Leader
A bit expensive, I'd say, but it serves its purpose of killing either AT or sniper.







False Information
Fun little card. You let enemy infantry like AT or sniper out of cover just for fun lol!!!







Aerial Recon + all other boost / recon cards
It will boost infantries' fire power immensely. Hordes of non-AT infantries can nearly kill even a tank !!! D: ** This card particularly is strong and cost effective. **
**Long Shot card will NOT increase the range of AT. Only the primary weapon range.




Counter Barrage
Counter Barrage is a cheap effective mortar. It doesn't cancel enemy's incoming arty, but you get to throw revenge arty back at them. Not the strongest arty, but will most likely kill about 2 stationary infantries.
This is over-powered a bit, but not a game breaking card at least. Should cost more.



Broadcast Attack
This is another over-powered arty. It costs 4 to kill 2 infantries. Though, you will have yout unit deployment lock for 10-ish sec while opponent timer is still active. This is not fire support, thus helm-d won't block it. Should cost definitely more.




Delay Infantry + other Delay cards
You block ememy reinforcements for a short time. Currently Cutoff kills 30sec for all units which is a bit over powered considering the card price of 4. Should either cost more or reduce to 15 sec like all other delay cards. Not only it locks units for 15 sec, but it also resets the timer as well.



Draw Fire
Sometimes you wonder why your tank is aiming at a squirrel on a tree instead of enemy tank?
Your opponent most likely used this card to distract you. Cheap yet very effective to distract tanks.






Helm-D / S-400
These 2 cards simply block any fire support except for Rain of Fire as of now :c
I'd say it's a must card.


Attack Sight
You pretty much make any one vehicle stop attacking for 10+ seconds. Very good way to shut tanks up. ** Some vehicles may have equipped immune system **






Response Force
You must not have ANY unit on the field. Not even one. You may use it when enemy has 3 or more units on the field. Then BAM, you get 3 rifleman. Rifleman will perish quickly, but it is very good cards for an emergency.





500lb Bomb
I'd say this is the most cost effective arty in the game. It has a great area of effect and the damage is decent on vehicles as well.







Defensive Order + various defense bonus in cover cards
It will boost up defense on those who are in cover ONLY immensely for 20+ seconds. When you are dealing with Vehicle spam, this card can save you. AT will not get killed by a single tank shell most likely.




A-10 Warthog
The strongest air support (aside from AC-130 :P). It actually damaged my HQ 105-ish somehow.
Other helis cost 5 and they are no where close to that damage.
This should cost at least one point more.







Deployment Cards
This is probably where new players will feel unfair / p2w. Ever wonder how your opponent deploy vehicles so quickly? like 2 tanks, 2 LAV in a row? These are your answers. I'd say it is very difficult to deal for inexperienced players, but I wouldn't say they're game breaking cards. Even without these cards, you still can win.
Bad Cards
Bad Cards

These arty should be on the wall of shame. They aren't weak, but neither strong.
Very cost... defective.


They don't immobilize nor miss their shot as it seems. What do these do? Can someone explain to me? Apparently, accuracy means damage. So it reduces damage.


Infantry Push
Another miscalculation by dev. Killing timer costs 5 while this one costs 6. It doesn't give you additional deploy. It uses your reinforcement.
Unless you are willing to have more than 2 killing timer for infantry, go ahead with extra 1 command point card :P



Resistance Under Fire
I expected it to be similar to Defensive Order, but I find it not so effective.

This Reinstate card. All you gotta do is to deplete only tank and use it.
It costs only 2 to instant spawn a tank
I'd say protest against this BS cards by just quickly concede. It takes away strategy and fun part out of the game.

Or... there is a troll way of doing this.....

just watch the game and don't do anything. Even after defeat, your opponent gets 0 exp or VERY small amount.

Rain of Fire
I pulled it back once as I could still deal with the card, but the loss is too much and very difficult to recover. There should be a bit of range limit to it. The problem is there is no range limit and you have no way to defend yourself even when you're on defense. The arty costing 9 are powerful within its range, but 12 sec difference changes the course of the battle this easily? This is already becoming must-have.


Heavy Armor Assist
It costs 6 to instant spawn a tank
All you gotta do is not to have any units on the field and voila! instant spawn tank.
This may not be a game-breaking card, but it isn't fair to other similar cards considering the consequence / price.

LAV spawn costs 8
Reserving a tank costs 8
Killing timer for tank costs 8
Light vehicle spawn costs 6
Critical Deployment costs 7 + 1 minute unit deployment lock
Russian armor costs 5, but gives opponent 5 points

Am I the one doing the math wrong? Hmm

and finally, my Fear came True.

someone now owns both Reinstate and Heavy Armor Assist.

if this doesn't get fixed, sooner or later everyone will be equipping these 2 cards.

and by the time I thought I could deal with bad money spammers, this guy brings a whole p2w issue to another dimmensions. If you don't want your games to be called as P2W, fix these non-sense elite cards. All I'm - hopefully others too - asking is to price up reinstate, heavy armor support, no additional price BS per unit in the field, and reduce the damage or range for rain of fire. They clearly are game breaking.

These are worthy foes I have faced without owning cheating cards.

Sure, they have some good cards, but I wouldn't say they are game-breaking. :P
Misc Tips
Last but not least

I've seen new players making various mistakes and I will give you some solutions.

You can still discard the cards during the battle

You drag upto the red box and it shall be gone. The Support Asset will be off-line for 10 seconds.

Every unit including infantries has its own health point, and every 'burst' fire is one hit

Sometimes you may wonder why did my AT die with one shot when they sometimes they don't?
They have un-shown health point. Every machine gun fire is actually considered one shot. It doesn't matter if you get 2 or 3 shots from one BTR burst. It still is considered as one shot.

Turn Off the cover you are not using
I've seen several newbies torturing their soldiers of going every single cover zigzagging.
It consumes time, and it is very painful for other players watch. Stahp !!!

Occupy Enemy Base Cover
When you are attacking the base. Steal the base cover! Not only it will give you extra protection, but it prevents the opponent a place to cover !!!

When your vehicles are within the base, you get extra defense

Your vehicles will not be eaily perished! Use it as an advantage to stop the spam !!!
Also, the base will only attack enemies who can attack the base. If you see the base being idle when your units in cover are being mowed down, the enemies are not within the their own attack range yet.

Don't send your sniper to enemy base door step

Snipers have a very bad habit of not using the range advantage they have when attacking the base. They love to see the architecture of the base very closely and end up knocking on the door step.

The more your unit is equipped, the longer they will spawn

Keep in mind that the unit timer will suffer the more you give them the equipment. Sometimes it can get you when dealing with infantry spam player.

Smoke Mortar is to be used on Enemy Not YOU !!!!
Smoke mortar card needs better description than oh it provides smoke.
It decreses accuracy of unit exposed to the smoke not giving a defense.
I've seen several players using smoke mortar on themselves not to the enemy.

Save your expensive arty from arty blockers !!!

Check that icon. It also can be anti-log or command, but most likely, it will be anti-arty. Don't waste your expensive arty !!! Try to use cheap ones if possible, or none at all as it also could be counter barrage, very fatal to infantry.


Repair Drop won't repair the base!



When you are certain of your defeat, you can still deploy quick-load unit
like rifleman to gain some extra exp until death. You can concede to ease your pain, but you can also gain extra points if you can tolerate the pain.

When your opponent isn't deploying any units...

Don't let your guards down and go to the enemy base like humpty-dumpty.
The player is most likely waiting to spawn a vehicle along with other spawn cards possibly.
Don't take the Bait !!!

Wait time queue. 1minute line.

If you find a player before 1 minute search, you will be facing a foe of your level most likely, but after 1 minute, you will face anyone regardless of your level. If you are high tier, you may face newbie and vice versa.
Good news for y'all !!!! You won't be facing high-tier players anymore !!!! It is very unlikely now
One way to ease your stress of being overcome by unfair card deck users like reinstate is just concede quickly. It will save you lot of time and cholesterol level of yours.

** sigh, now I'm just stuck with only bots as the high level player population is very low :c **

If the timer goes over 1 minute and 13 seconds, you may face Bot pretending someone else D:
