3-star and 5-star victory chests are earned the first time 3 or 5 stars are earned for each survival battleground or endless match.

A hero victory chest is awarded the first time a battleground is defeated or wave 5 is surpassed in endless with a new hero. Revisiting battlegrounds with a new hero is a great way to earn a wealth of chests!

Once every 7 days, players are rewarded with a log-in chest corresponding to the highest unlocked difficulty tier. These chests are identical to 3-star and 5-star victory chests.

Sabotage chests are earned periodically as daily login bonuses. They contain a selection of consumable cards for use in Sabotage game mode.

The primary method of obtaining cards for Sabotage mode is through playing Sabotage matches. Individual cards are awarded to players based on game performance; victories and longer games will provide a greater number of rewards.

These contain cosmetic items such as hero dyes or skins that will let you slay orcs in style. The Grand Vanity Chest contains one skin and one dye for each hero, and the Starter Hero Vanity Chest contains two skins and one dye each for Maximilian, Gabriella, and Blackpaw. Each vanity chest provides one item. Additional vanity chests may be available on a limited or seasonal basis.

Available chests can be viewed by opening the chest inventory. This small gift box icon appears in the bottom right corner of the interface next to the friend list when there are chests to be opened. They do not need to be opened immediately, but who can resist a box full of goodies?
