Why not have the glass break? I did this by placing funneling up to the button and then placing a portal on the floor next to the angled panel and then one below me (orange). I pressed the button as I was falling, flew up into the room and shot my blue portal.

Anyway, I allowed portal bumping once you reach the 3rd cube.
