CS:GO Tactics on Mirage

I hope I can really help improve your tactics if you are playing with a full-premade team. I find these tactics as being the best way to win as many matches as you can on Mirage.

(CT) First Tactic

Weapons needed: 4 M4A4/ M4A1-S, 1 AWP.

A play: You will have P1 with M4 standing behind the Danger Box on the A site. P2 will stay stairs also ready to give info from palace. If P2 says that T's have pushed balcony, P1 will go in "pos 3" to cross-fire P1. In case there is a push ramp, P1 will go in "pos 2" to peak the T's. P3 will be the AWPer staying connecter, peaking mid. If the enemies will smoke mid, he might try retreating into "pos 2" where he can see both mid and short.

B play: P5 will stay close to the apartments arch waiting for a B push. P4 can either stay in his position, wait for the T's to fall into the side than start shooting or he can chose between staying in "pos 2" wich will cross-fire P5 or "pos 3" so he can watch the window from where T's are coming from.

(CT) Second tactic

Weapons: 3/4 M4s, 1/2 AWPs (your choice)

A play: P1 will be the one (AWPer or just a rifler) who will be watching for a T ramp push. P2 can check palace time to time or he can cross-fire P1 at ramp. P1 can as well throw some nades such as flashbangs and smokes near ramp so he can make T's push way more difficult. You will have P3 (necessary AWPer) in a default position (jungle) awping middle. Don't overpick, try 1 shot then retreat connector.

B play: P4 will stay short, playing at arch and holding it. In case of an aparments push, P5 will smoke it and P4 will crossfire it from arch.

(CT) Third Tactic

Weapons needed: 5 M4A4/M4A1-s / 4M4s, 1 AWP.

Note: This is a really deffensive play, giving mid easily away but in the end it is all worth it.

A play: P1 will stay at the ticket box with the AWP/ M4 (it really does not matter), while P2 will stay at the bottom of the stair and P3 hidden on the left side of the fire box. If there is a push ramp/ palace, P1 can pick some T's with his awp and after the T's got in the site, P2 and P3 can cross-fire and finish the job. If there is a push connecter, P2 at firebox will see it first and he will ask P3 for a cross-fire/ pop-flash. If the T's will boost in jungle/ go short/ go underpass, P2 will hear them.

B play: Both players, P4 (at the end of the aparments) and P5 (close to van) will stay very close to each other. If there is an aparments push, the T's might check P4 (low chances still) but they will deffinetly not check for a second guy close to him. If they don't check, wait for all of them to push, plant, then kill them. It is all about this patience game. If they come short, they won't be able to see you until you reach site plus you will be able to see them first.

(T) First Tactic - Mid play

Weapons needed: Full AKs or maximum 1 AWP.

You will start with P1 who will smoke connector (the 2nd and the 3rd are the best in this situation). P2 will smoke top-mid cross so his teammate, P3 will be albe to smoke the window. P4 will check for a fast B push. After all of the smokes have been deployed, your team can rush short into B way more easier and will most likely succed in planting the bomb.

(T) Second Tactic - Mid play to A site

Weapons needed: 5 AKs, no need for AWP.

The play: P1 will smoke connector while P2 and P3 will rush underpass (when P1 finish smoking, he will rush underpass as well). While they are rushing, P4 will smoke top of mid and P5 will smoke window. After P1, P2 and P3 all reach window, they'll wait for the smoke to go so they can boost 2 of them into jungle. The player left will go connector with P4 and P5. Here comes the A play, easier than never.
