Toricky - Play Manual

This Guide explains Toricky's Gameplay Basics and Controls.

Getting Started
Launcher



  1. Select game's resolution.
  2. Select game's graphic quality (Can be modified in-Game)
  3. Start Toricky
  4. Do NOT modify default key-configuration in the launcher (Keyboard and Gamepad Configuration can be modified in-Game in the Option Menu)

Graphics Quality

  1. Low (Recommanded for Minimum Specs.)
    • Low resolution textures
    • All heavy visual effects disabled
    • Low quality lightings


  2. Medium
    • Medium resolution textures
    • Heavy visual effects partially disabled
    • Medium quality lightings

  3. Good
    • Medium resolution textures
    • Medium quality lightings

  4. Fantastic
    • High resolution textures
    • High quality lightings
    • 2xAA



  5. Highest
    • High resolution textures
    • Best quality lightings
    • 2xAA
    • Additional visual features

(Quality can be modified in-Game in the Option Menu)

Language Selection



Select your language the first time you're launching Toricky. The default language is Japanese, choose your language with [LEFT/RIGHT] and press [ENTER] to confirm.

Save Selection



  1. Select a Save Slot with [LEFT/RIGHT] and press [ENTER] to confirm.
  2. Copy a Save Slot's Data to another Slot.
  3. Erase a Save Slot's Data.
  4. Press [Esc] to close the Save Selection Menu.

Commands
Default Commands (Keyboard)


  1. Directional Keys
    • Fly in 8 directions, project Toricky in the pressed direction.
    • Hold Directional Key to fly continuously
    • Move cursor on menus.
  2. Hold SHIFT + Directional Keys
    • Dash in 8 directions.
  3. Grab Item
    • Grab items around you by touching them when Toricky's grabbing nothing else.
    • Carryable Items are highlighted when close to Toricky.
  4. SPACE
    • If Toricky's grabbing any item, press SPACE to release it, Use the gravity to throw items on enemies!
  5. ENTER
    • Confirm selected button on Menus.
    • Proceed a dialogue.
    • Enter a Zone on Dimentional Gate Menu
  6. C/V
    • Press [C] to Zoom-IN the Camera
    • Press [V] to Zoom-IN the Camera
  7. P
    • Open/Close Zone Map Menu
  8. Esc
    • Cancel
    • Close Menus
  9. F1
    • Open/Close Options Menu

Default Commands (Gamepad)


Note:
  • The game is compatible by default with XBox 360/One Controller.
  • If you're using any other controller you may have to configure keys in the Option Menu.


Commands Configuration

  1. Press [F1] to open the Option Menu



  2. Select Controls Configuration in the Option Menu



  3. Click on Keyboard Controls/Gamepad Controls to choice which of the Keyboard/Gamepad you want to configure.



  4. Select the Command you want to configure with UP/DOWN then press [ENTER]
  5. Press the button you want to set-up.
  6. Once you've finished to set-up all the Commands you want to configure, select Confirm to save.
Game Screen

  1. Toricky
    • This Game's Player Character.
  2. Life Counter
    • Heart Icons represent your Life Points.
    • You loose a Heart when you're damaged.
    • When you have 0 Hearts, you're Game Over and kicked-off from a Zone.
    • You can recover a Heart by eating Fruits.
  3. Fruit Points Counter
    • Shows the number of Fruit Points you've collected in the Zone.
    • You can recover a Heart by collecting 10 Fruit Points.
    • Something Good will happen if you collect 100 Fruit Points.
  4. Clock
    • Shows the in-Game Day-Time hour
    • There is a Day/Night cycle in the Game
  5. Zone's Play-Time
    • Shows the time you've played in the Zone.
    • The Timer is reseted each time you're entering a new Zone.
  6. Carryable Item
    • Touch the Wooden Box to Grab it.
    • Carryable Items are highlited when close to Toricky.
  7. Fruits
    • Eat Fruits to collect Fruit Points
    • Cherries give 1 Point
    • Oranges give 2 Points
    • Grapes give 5 Points
    • Melons give 10 Points
