Intro
Hey guys and girls after completing Fallout4 with the dlc 100% i wanted to make a guide that just gives a few pointers on completing some of the harder acheivments, this guide is not a how to unlock all achievements guide at all, if thats what your looking for there are some great ones on the steam communtiy for you to use.

Purpose behind this guide is just to reassure you that what you are doing on your journey in the wasteland will actually count towards getting those goodies!
The Molecular Level

So wastelanders ive already done a guide to the Molecular Level a year ago on what is a easy achievement, but yet if your trying to build on certain parts of your settlement and it just wont be placed together correctly here is how you can. Heres a link to my guide on how to get through the headaches

The Nuclear Option

So this achievement itself is actually not hard to get at all, the reason I wanted to discuss this is whatever faction you pick to join this achievement you will be able to get with ease, BUT......each faction has there own individual achievements you unlock prior to getting this.

To get them all on the one playthrough I would suggest selecting a save point in the game, go and join the Brotherhood and complete the main story, then reload to your selected savepoint and go an join the Railroad and complete the main story through again.

I myself took the game a little more seriously and played through the game and completed it 4 times. Doing so this way takes alot longer, hense why I have atleast over 300 hours played. But im big on game imersion and enjoy Fallout4 way too much.

I did notice though that when I went and joined the Railroad on one playthrough I was still completing quests from the Institute that I had previously unlocked. So your not locked to helping one faction at any point, until your actually ready to bring down the Institute, and the Brotherhood etc....

Please note that deciding to join the Institute you wont be able to unlock this particular achievement.
Benevolent Leader

So this achievement ive always found to be one hard nut to crack and only managed to get on my fourth playthrough. Ive watched many youtube videos and read many guides on just how to even get close to unlocking this.

Heres what you need to do, go to your favoured settlement, mine was ofcourse Sanctuary. You will have atleast 1 settler required to complete, but i had 20. So numbers arent a big issue to get this.

You will need atleast 1 food and 1 water for every settler, plus defence to match them both. So for example.
1food+1water=2 defence
I had like 20 settlers, 25 food, 30 water and 200 Defence

Having greater numbers such as the example above doesnt guarentee it unlocking at all, only one thing does.....HAPPINESS!
Sounds crazy but you need to be builiding alot of happiness items in your settlements, you build power items for power and water items for water, but the amount of people struggling with this is rediculous.

SImply to get this build as many happiness items as you like, I had all the DLC installed completing this, so I had 2 Bar stores, 1 Clinic Store, atleast 20 paintings and you can build exercise equipment like weights that work great for happiness, which I had atleast 20 of those too. Some of these items arent included apart of the main game but are in the DLC only, but that doesnt mean you cant get it unlocked without DLC.

Go and leave the settlement to stew away and let the happiness rise, or do as I did and just sleep in a bed for 24 hours. Happiness will go to 100, it may not unlock straight away but give it a few minutes and it will do so. Even if it hits 100 for like 30 seconds then goes back to 99, it should still unlock.

Quick note on this is, in youtube videos ive seen people say it must be a large settlement, you must have 20 settlers. Please ignore this, I managed to get smaller settlements like Boston Airport to 100%
Also another quick point is make sure your settlers are working as this stops boredom, and slows down the Happiness bar from dropping. If you have robots at your settlement you dont need to count them into the "food and water" measuring tool.
Docile

So this achievement is apart of the new DLC brought to Fallout4, you can buy all the DLC seperatley but if your smart just go and buy the season pass or wait until the steam sales are on and pick them up at a discount.

So with Docile it requires you to have atleast 5 tamed creatures, i had atleast 10 before this achievement popped, but what actually got it was the creatures were natural wild creatures like Mutant hounds and Deathclaws and Mirelurks. I had atleast 4 cats at other settlements in the commonwealth and had Radstaggs at others and nothing was unlocking.

So just make sure they are agressive creatures that you are taming!

I had all the creature traps set up to 1 power source, so when it was turned off all creatures were released at the same time and became a bloodbath....not that thats bad. But you will have your achievement guarenteed.

Beverageer

So this is a pretty straight forward achievement, its apart of the new DLC aswell. You basically need to create all 20 drinks available to the Nukamixer machines. You get 5 basic recipes to create, and the other 15 are located around Nuka world.

Basically pick these up and they will be learned. You dont need to hold onto these so sell them for caps and grab as many Nuka Cola assorted bottles as you can. Some Nuka mixes will also require you to have certain products like Wild Carrot Flower and Bourbon, even dirty water, which arent too hard to come by.

If I can give any advice it would be collect Nuka Colas like a hoarder would. Save them up for the Nuka mix machine. If your at the shops keep an eye out for Nuka Dark, Nuka Wild, Nuka Quartz and Nuka Quantum as these will be the most used ingredients to make new mixes.

Your going to come across alot of Nuka Cola in the Nuka World DLC, if your having trouble at any point finishing, there is a Nuka Cola Process plant within nuka world in the north eastern section.
Also the Nuka Cade near the Parlor at nuka world has several Nuka colas you can purchase with nuka cade tickets, earnt through playing at the Nuka Cade.
All Sugared Up

So this will require you to be under the infleunce of NUKA MIXES whilst killing any NUKA WORLD CREATURES.

Sorry about that but, its pretty straight forward, hard to understand, and yet harder to unlock than the Benevolent Leader achievement.

Basicly drink your Nuka Mixed drinks such as Nuka Cooler, Nuka Love or whatever drink of your choice is. Each drink has a timer that it lasts for so be sure to drink before killing any creatures. Or you can check your status in your pipboy to tell you your current affects in place from taken drinks.
Taking simple nuka cola has no affect so be sure its a mix drink, with a effect!

So nuka world creatures, basically anything you cant find in the commonwealth. Doesnt have to be agressive either, you can even hunt down Gazelles to knock this one over. But if your smart you should try to unlock this whilst doing the main nuka world story quests. The safari zone will have several creatures to kill and even the Nuka cola plant has Nukamirelurks.

Take a tour of the outer areas of Nuka world and you will run into many Nuka world creatures and ofcourse creatures that have found there way in from the Commonwealth aswell as Ghouls and Mutants.

Say you have done the main story at nuka world and your struggling to get your kill count up, you might want to go back to the Safarri Zone and to the Welcome Centre and turn back on the Reproduction machine. I done this myself but instead of Gators been created it was Gazelles, but each kill counted.
Eyes on the Prize

So this achievement you will need to grind out. Its not a hard one to get, just a long process, it took me around 10-12 hours to get, but you can find atleast 6-7000 nuka cade tickets hidden around Nuka world itself.

There are several games that you can play at the nuka cade that will farm your tickets for you, but your going to need nuka cade tokens to play, so find those aswell as tickets or you can turn your useless Pre war money into tokens at or even outside the Nuka cade itself.

The Nuka Cade is located just near the Parlor at Nuka world, or if your more wanting to play at home you can build nuka game machines at any settlement you like, but will still need to redeem your 100,000 tickets at the nuka cade anyway.

Keep in mind that the prizes you can collect for your tickets you will be able to use to help you get the Beverageer achievement, if you havent done so already.

I myself played the Bandit Roundup game where i was getting anywhere from 850-1200 tickets a game based on how well my shot accuarcy was, and ofcourse using the weapon called "Spray and Pray"
Which you can buy off a trader just outside vault 81 in the commonwealth. Its a submachine gun, with ballistic bullets, so start conserving your .45 ammo and happy shooting

Conclusion
Hope this guide was helpfull in aiding you in your wasteland quest to achievement glory, if there is any questions you have or even achievements your having trouble with that I havent listed please just hit me up. I can either get back to you or will update this guide with a breif on what is needing to be done to get it. Cheers for reading through!

Eyes on the Prize you can automate.
It's not hard to figure out how to place Manufacturing conveyors and lifts to recycle basketballs up and through the hoops - on as many hoops as you care to build.

It's much slower than holding a ball on the cursor and pinging it into the detector part of the hoop (lets you break 1k tickets/game) but you can run 50 hoops at once if you have the patience to build that many hoops and feeder systems.

If you have wasteland workshop (and honestly, if you're playing in 2020, you have it)
Benevolent leader is so easy it's ridiculous.

Place BEFORE activating a Settlement beacon.

2 pommel horses (furniture, misc, near the end)
1 turret.
3 beds (in case Codsworth is still tying one up which he sometimes does, despite never sleeping)
and have at least 2 food and water in the workshop.

Then turning on the beacon will attract 1 or 2 settlers.. either way your Happiness will jump to 100 because you have everything they need and the bonus from the pommel horses. (settlement ambush's shooting gallary, arcade machines, etc all work just as well)

the guide is more designed to give people pointers, or keeping them in the right direction. its not a "do this to complete the achievement", even says that in the intro lol. Plenty of youtube videos out there for that, its more fun to actually play and unlock then follow step by step of someone else completing it, personal opinion.

What's the point of having an achievement guide without saying what is required...? You have somewhat written how to do it, what difference does it make?
