Hello. :) I'm opening 2017 with something rather new for my workshop: Sci-Fi skin.



This one was inspired by Gauss Rifles from other games: Crysis, Fallout and Stalker with some addition of aesthetics from Metro 2033 guns design.

I haven't used SG 553 after sound update until only like a month ago, and when I did I fell in love with the new sound and once I figured out the design I liked I just had to make something for this gun.

I was trying to create this one with a feeling of heavy, a bit DYI constructed from scavenged parts, working machine. Battery providing energy for powering up the bullets mounted in the stock, connected with cables/wires. You can see the wires going under the metal skin of the gun in some spots delivering energy to the front where the cyan light is glowing from the front grip which for me resembled a lot of how the Gauss rifles look like. Then there is also this chip above mag dock and the scope lights as some extra sci-fi additions.
