actually, i'm pretty sure he wasn't LOL. but we had an epidemic at the time. he's just good. him, Speedy and me are about the same level now.
as for how you cheat...
it's only possible on certain days on certain maps if you find an exploit. you know those rock towers that fall down? sometimes driving into the base of the fallen tower exposes a "hole" in the bottom of the map that you can fall through. your ship plummets down and there are no obstructions. as long as you have the "wings" turbo perk installed you can keep ahead of the Persuer for 1 million K+.
None of us regulars here have broken 700k yet (legitimately).
a guy called Ich did it the other day. i've never even seen him before, so he accidentally found a hole in the map and kept pressing the turbo button.

the way the game is designed i can't see anyone getting over 800K. anything over that... they're cheating.
