Cheat List

To activate the cheats you need to press and hold SHIFT + ALT + A at Main Menu. The cheats will be activated until you close the game. List:

• ALT + X → 100 popularity and 1000 gold.

• ALT + K → All buildings become free.

• ALT + D → DEBUG Mode.

• ALT + Q → Takes screenshot (works without pressing the keys at Main Menu).

• ALT + C → Unlocks all campaign missions.

An update on my earlier post, while the codes seem to stop working after the initial mission with them active is completed, saving, logging out, and back in again, DOES allow you to reactivate the codes with alt+shift+tab. Alt-x appears to be continuing to work in the second battle, but if you wish to use alt-k you will need to logout and back in again.

I can get the codes to work. And for the first mission all is well, and after the cut scene the codes work intermittently, or not at all. Going to try saving and logging out, and then relaunch to see if the codes are then working again.

The instructions given by the author and some of the older comments, do not work. Pressing (Shift+Alt+A) press and hold in that order or in any order doesn't do anything. If you start a game and press alt+x, you get 1000 gold but that's it. I can't get the other cheats to work.

I was playing multiplayer, as I have before multiple times. I encountered someone with the ability to generate over 100 plus units instantaneously. How is this possible? I'm not so sure if it's exactly cheating or they have some secondary software that gives them the ability to hack the game. Looking for answers.

The only one of these I ever bothered to try was ALT + D, and that allowed me to view the connections and linkages layers that, without the cheat activation, would otherwise be accessible only in the map editor (and yes, I can confirm that it still works in this current version of the game). I remember back when I used to play this game on the old CD how fun it was to discover the connections and linkages in all of the familiar maps in the campaigns and scenarios. (Too bad it works only in this game. I recently tried it in Stronghold Crusader, but it did not work in that game.)

both my stronghold and stronghold crusader's 2 on my steam acc will not stop running and i cant load the games to play them what's going on with this they both have been running for 2 days and i cant get then to stop so its preventing me from launching the games
