The only German-made WW1 tank to see combat, based on the holt tractor and designed so that the chassis could be used both for armored vehicles and cargo carriers. Despite high performance on roads, the tank performed very poorly in uneven and cross country terrain, and could not cross trenches. In the end, only 20 were made.
