SLI Workaround
What you need:
  • Newest GeForce driver
  • Nvidia Inspector

What you need to do:
  1. Open Nvidia Inspector
  2. Click on the "tools" button right next to the driver version
  3. Click on "Create new profile" (the sun icon)
  4. Name it (for example: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition)
  5. Click on "Add application to current profile." (window icon with + symbol)
  6. Search for "skyrimse.exe" and "skyrimselauncher.exe" in your "Skyrim Special Edition" folder (Steam\SteamApps\common)
  7. Add them both
  8. Change the "SLI compatibility bits (DX1x)" value to 0x080000F5
  9. Click on "Apply Changes"

The benefit taken from this workaround seems to differ from person to person. I am not responsible for any bugs that could occur while using this workaround.

If you are confused google 'Nvidia Profile Inspector', not Nvidia Inspector. 2.4.0.4 has been updated since this guide, there is no 'tools' button.

I had to use a ghetto ass work around using a darksouls two preset for my drivers, so glad this is more official

Really any enthusiast who has sli and therefore cares about performance should have some real time read outs. i always can see my ram usage, per core usage, voltages, everything without tabbing out on a seperate display.

Had no idea it was running non-SLI even though enabled through Nvidia control panel with some activity. But this simple guide enbles full SLI on my sub-par CPU 6300 with GTX 960's runs quite fine with many mesh and graphic replacement mods.

I was considering selling both GPU's for a 1080 TI before doing some research to this issue. Thanks!

Kaizoku, I just tried ur SLI settings, works perfect :) thank you so much (with 0.0143 of frame time I have constantly 70 fps with heavy mods (on dual gtx770 4Go)

You know what? I find better solution. Just fck this code (reset it to default) And do what i said, so you will have the most fps that you can have, and you will not force the engine so there's no point to glitches or crashes. 1st Find the "Number of GPUs to use on SLI rendering mode". Set Sli GPU COUNT [number of your graphic card (from 2 to 4)]. Next is "SLI rendering mode". Set "SLI RENDERING MODE FORCE AFR2" (remember that must be 2, trust me :)

for me best is the witcher 3 settings. There's no glitch in game only flickering in menu that can be easily depleted by double tap esc or j. Fps are best for fhd and high setings witch antyaliasing off
(i have average 50 fps so i turn off aa for better performance, but with antyaliasing it's still working good). With the original code in instruction makes my game freeze's at time to time, and i must relogin to windows. 0x080020F1
