The plasma cannon is awesome, has power to drop a gaungantua infected. The only downside when firing a plasma cannon is the radiation that it emits, you will get bloody.

I havn't seen any of them myself yet, thou from the ammo I've picked up I think there's a plasma connon and laser rifle. I think these are possibly the aliens weapons.
