No real pilot would do this unless it was forced on them in an emergency.

Probably burst the tyres on landing.

Try flying in regular tail view which gives more control and is more realistic.

No aircraft moves around the way you are depicting in spot view.

You can see this simply by looking at the dynamics.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Although, this will require a very sharp turn when landing in a confined space.
I saw the track on a regular flight with an almost direct approach from North valley.
But this is the approach I have done according to the plan from "Dangerous Approaches Add-On" (http://steamproxy.com/steamstore/app/343955/)

The reason it was so difficult for you to land was because you came over the mountain when approaching. Normally planes will follow the river towards the runway (it has a way lower elevation). Or they will fly to the Castlegar VOR (CG) and follow a lower elevation westbound, left turn and then towards the runway. You will see what I mean here: https://skyvector.com/?ll=49.2961111111111,-117.6325&chart=301&zoom=3

You're landing from the north in the video so you had to approach it via river or the westbound lower elevation from Castlegar VOR. What you did in the video was quite... interesting because you had to descent way too steep after that hill (you never want 4 white PAPI's).
