Beskrivning
Dynamic Recon Ops is a randomised, replayable scenario that generates an enemy occupied AO with a selection of tasks to complete within. Select your AO location, the factions you want to use and any supports available or leave them all randomised and see what mission you are sent on.



Designed to be simple to use but with plenty of options to customise your mission setup, the objective behind DRO is to create a way to quickly get playing a new scenario in singleplayer or co-op. With as few changes to the base game as possible, DRO aims to showcase the unique and varied gameplay that Arma 3 has to offer for smaller scale infantry combat.
Additionally, DRO has been designed from the ground up to take advantage of faction mods. If you have any mods that create new factions they will be selectable as player or enemy sides within the mission. However, the scenario itself requires no mods apart from specific terrains if you want to use them.

How to make AI to resupply on crates? I tried all the ways possible and they do not pick ammo even when I am telling them to do. Same happens if leaving the ammo on the ground or trying to put it on theirs backpack

@streider this is soooo long to reply but if anyone runs into this problem with ACE, all you have to do is disable REVIVE. You can also configure add-ons to make sure you don't have to worry about food/hunger. I ONLY play DRO with ACE :)

really good mod! however giving the hostage to the extraction team is a softlock for some reason :/ they don't move often and even if they take him out of the AO it doesn't count since you don't take him out of there yourself. if you just take him out while he's in your squad it works.

For all those who plan to play with ACE. It does not work properly. The heal system will not work correctly after the first respawn.

DRO is a good scenario generator for missions, I like doin them, But sometimes "Command" Is quite Dumb, Such as i just played a mission (Rescue) And Exfiled via chopper, Then "Command" tells me. "Um actually you also need to destroy a Truck to win lmao, Restart the mission ♥♥♥♥♥.":steamthis:

I play DRO a lot recently and I can only say good things about it. There are only two things I woul like to change about it:
1. the number of objectives. I would like to select more than three objectives per mission - like up to ten to play really long missions.
2. the number of AOs. I would like to be alble to force the game to select more areas for the objectives to spread them more over the map.

I like long missions that can take even multiple hours and spread over a big area. If this ever gets an update again, I hope that this is added <3
