C-TEAM: Pantry Puzzle


The pantry puzzle is one of the first locked room puzzles C-Team will encounter in Zero Time Dilemma. Here’s how to solve the puzzle.

Step 1: Examine the cardboard box sitting on the metal shelf to reveal a box of potatoes, and grab the round part.

Step 2: Open the metal cabinet below the box to find gelatin powder and a fake leg.

Step 3: Insert the round part into the gingerbread man hole in the machine near the door.

Step 4: Open the metal cabinet to the right of the wall with the gelatin instructions to find the iodine solution.

Step 5: Go back to the box of potatoes and use the iodine solution there. You’ll get the letters: D U D L L R

Step 6: Go to the glass cabinet and open the left door with this combination: down, up, down, left, left, right

Step 7: Open the glass cabinet’s right door with this combination: right, left, left, down, up, down

Step 8: Behind the left door, check the fruit puzzle piece and simply rotate all the faces of the puzzle piece until the fruits and leaves match.

Step 9: Take the blue doll and heat it up to reveal the combination 1234.

Step 10: Take the bottle of water and card from behind the right door in the glass cabinet.

Step 11: Combine the mold with water, and then the mold+water with gelatin. Put it in the gingerbread man machine and cool it down.

Step 12: Put the cool gelatin in the gingerbread man slot to reveal a small key.

Step 13:
Open the right-side metal cabinet below the box of potatoes, and use the key to reveal a combination on the fake hand: 625. The game tries to trick you by making the numbers look like ‘529’, but you actually have to flip it around. Classic Zero Escape.

Step 14:
Add up the numbers you have so far. 1234 + 625 = 1859. Key in this combination in the keypad next to the door.

Step 15: Use the small key on the handcuffs next to where you found the blue doll to get the right hand.

Step 16: Heat up the right hand to get its palm to open up.

Step 17: Use the right hand to authenticate the biometric pass on the door.
C-TEAM: Rec Room Puzzle
Step 1: Pick up the chess rules on the table.

Step 2: Pick up the wooden box and the matches on the counter.

Step 3: Use the matches to start a fire in the fireplace and throw the wooden box in.

Step 4: Take the bottle of water found on the wooden shelf behind the counter.

Step 5: Use the water to put out the fire.

Step 6: Grab the hook from the suit of armor standing next to the fireplace, then use it to into the ashes. You’ll get your first coin.

Step 7: Use the hook to lift up a panel on the floor next to the card table and grab the wooden hammer.

Step 8: Use the hammer to knock out the ‘C’ block on the chess board.

Step 9: On the round cylinder, from left to right, select these symbols: Rook, Bishop, King. You’ll get the second coin here.

Step 10: At the roulette table, enter the code ‘SPIN’ to obtain the wheel and the third coin.

Step 11: Place the roulette wheel on top of the slot machine, and then pull the lever.

Step 12: Take the puzzle pieces, examine the heart symbol on the slot machine, and recreate the heart symbol with the pieces you have.

Step 13: Take the fourth coin and the card calendar.

Step 14: Use the card on the jukebox, then pick up the three dice that fall to the ground.

Step 15: Topple the house of cards. With the card calendar, you can figure out the equation on the table, which translates to: JAM – ODDS + SADMAN. Using the clues you’ve found around the room, this gives you 100 – 35 + 570 = 635.

Step 16: Insert the three dice into the slot at the side of the card table, and set them to 6, 3, and 5 respectively. This gives you the fifth coin.

Step 17: Go to the coin machine next to the card table, and insert all five coins.
C-TEAM: Control Room Puzzle
Step 1: Grab the sunglasses from behind the poster with the voltage sign and Roman numerals.

Step 2: Check the monitors, and examine the screen showing the shutter and duct tape. Zoom out to get the solution for the switchboard puzzle.

Step 3: Turn the knobs on the switchboard while following the patterns shown on the monitor. This will open the locker gives you the small battery parts and a note.

Step 4: Combine the battery parts with the sunglasses, then examine them and go into mode A. This gives you the solution for the Roman numerals puzzle.

Step 5: With the pattern from the glasses, and the voltage sign poster, you can figure out the solution for the second switchboard puzzle. Here’s the solution: 4 matches V, 1 matches II, 2 matches III, 5 matches I, and 3 matches IV. Be sure to pick up the note next to the second switchboard.

Step 6: Check the monitor that just lit up for the solution to the stands puzzle. The red stand should be turned to SE, blue to N, green to E, and pink to SW. This brings up a central stand from the ground.

Step 7: This will cause the third monitor to light up, revealing the solution for the cylinders puzzle. The solution for the first row is as follows: lit, unlit, lit, lit, unlit, lit. The second row: unlit, lit, lit, unlit, lit, lit. The nearby locker will open up, revealing another note and a headset for the glasses.

Step 8: Combine the headset with the sunglasses. Check mode B for the solution to the crane puzzle.

Step 9: Go to the final monitor and activate the crane. Here are the directions: right, down, left, down. Lower the crane to push the button. This will cause the smaller monitors to reveal some alphabets.

Step 10: Use the notes you’ve gathered thus far to make sense of the alphabets. Examine the glasses and go into mode C, and enter the password: BETESTEDBYFIRE.

Step 11: Rotate the stands again. The green should be set to N, the red to NE, the blue to W, pink to S, and the grey to NW. This will cause a panel to rise from the ground.

Step 12: Connect the nearby cable to the panel.
C-TEAM: Power Room Puzzle
Step 1: Pick up the box of matches on the ground.

Step 2: Open the gas valve and the connecting yellow switch, then strike a match in the heater.

Step 3: Slide the switch on the power distribution panel next to the gas valve. The top pipe should be receiving power now.

Step 4: Open the red locker connected to the top power pipe to get the steel mold.

Step 5: Flip the switch next to the locker door to open the lower door. You’ll have to solve a cube puzzle to get two sink plugs.

Step 6: Use the plugs to plug up both sinks in the room.

Step 7: Go back to the distribution panel and direct the power to the right pipe.

Step 8: Open the second locker door to get the fire extinguisher.

Step 9: Flip the switch next to the locker to open the lower door to get the block of tin.

Step 10: Fit the block of tin and the steel mold into the furnace in the corner.

Step 11: Use the matches to start a fire and you’ll get a tin key from the bottom drawer.

Step 12: Use the key on the lever machine near the large control panel. Pull the lever.

Step 13: Open up the water valve near the distribution panel, then flood both sinks in the room. Be sure to cover up the drainage ditches next to each sink.

Step 14: Turn on the power switch that’s connected to the exposed wires. This will power up the large control panel.

Step 15: Solve the puzzle at the control panel to power up the monitor next to it.

Step 16: Solve the laser puzzle by getting all the beams to touch the center core.

Step 17:
Use the fire extinguisher on the water drainage next to the control panel.
C-TEAM: Infirmary Room Puzzle
Step 1: Pick up the luminol spray on the desk.

Step 2: Pick up the barcode reader lying on the scanner bed.

Step 3: Grab the stethoscope from the lab coat hanging on the wall.

Step 4: Take the syringe found on the leather bed.

Step 5: Use the luminol spray on the lockers. The combinations for each locker will appear on the locker doors. You only have to open the third and fifth lockers from the left. Their combinations are 413 and 275.

Step 6: Solve the cube puzzle in found in locker 413 to get a key card.

Step 7: Use the key card on the CT scanner monitor to activate. Have Carlos, Junpei, and Akane take the CT scan.

Step 8: Use the barcode reader to scan all three of their readings found on the board, just keep a straight line across all 3 barcodes at once.

Step 9: Grab the bottle of ink and lug wrench found in the compartment below the readings.

Step 10: Combine the bottle of ink with the syringe.

Step 11: Examine the poster on the wall, and inject the ink at the part where the candle is. There are two more spots, candle look-alike, on the poster for you to inject the ink into.

Step 12: Use the lug wrench to remove the screws at all four corners of the poster.

Step 13:
Use the stethoscope on the glass case to figure out the combination. The combination is: 15, 7, 12.

Step 14: Examine the case full of antidotes to trigger a cutscene.
D-TEAM: Trash Disposal Puzzle


The trash disposal area is one of the locked room puzzles D-Team will have to face in Zero Time Dilemma. Here’s how to solve it.

Step 1: Grab the goggles and toolbox from the cabinet.

Step 2: Grab the gas torch.

Step 3: Equip the goggles and check the trash chart on the wall for the code ‘TIC’.

Step 4: Enter ‘TIC’ in the lever puzzle on the console.

Step 5: Have Phi pick up the screwdriver inside the incinerator.

Step 6: Have Phi weigh the screws and the screwdriver on the weighing scale on the ground.

Step 7: Have Diana and Sigma examine the chute and key in the code ‘155,’ which is the weight of the screwdriver and the screws.

Step 8: This step is totally useless and you can perfectly complete the room without solving this specific puzzle. Send the toolbox to Phi and have her solve the puzzle by aligning the tools properly.

Step 9: Send the gas torch over to Phi.

Step 10: Have Phi use the gas torch on the thermometer next to the weighing scale in the incinerator.

Step 11: Have Diana and Sigma take the coin from the console.

Step 12: Use the coin to unscrew the metal grating to reveal the red button on the wall.

Step 13: Have Sigma sit in the chair.

Step 14: Have Diana grab the gun box and send it over to Phi to unscrew it.

Step 15: Have Diana pick up the gun and put it in the ‘Stop’ hole next to the chair.
D-TEAM: Healing Room Puzzle
Step 1: Take all of the keys from the harpsichord.

Step 2: Pick up the note on the cabinet, along with the tumbler and bottle of water. Check the drawer for the matches.

Step 3: Touch the dial on the wall to change the room’s pattern to the flowery one.

Step 4: Take the knife hanging on the wall.

Step 5: Solve the rose puzzle hanging on the wall.

Step 6: Change the room back to the black and white pattern.

Step 7: Stab the knife into the poster.

Step 8: Change the room’s pattern to the forest one.

Step 9: Place the tumbler on the ground next to the console, where the lights have appeared.

Step 10:
Use the matches to light the candle on the table.

Step 11: Pull the lever on the console to open up the cover and get the digital camera.

Step 12:
Take a photo of the tumbler on the ground while the room is in the forest pattern.

Step 13: Take a photo of the white pattern on the sofa while the room is in the forest pattern. Line it up with the green bar on the wall behind it.

Step 14: Take a photo of the candle holder on the table while the room is in the forest pattern.

Step 15: Take a photo of the rose puzzle while the room is in the flowery pattern.

Step 16: Take a photo of the odd designs on the wall behind the sofa while the room is in the black and white pattern.

Step 17: Take a photo of the tablet in the red water while the room is in the forest pattern.

Step 18:
Put eight keys into the eight slots that have opened up on the console.

Step 19: Pour the glass of water into the jar and glass lying on top of the harpsichord.

Step 20: Change the room pattern to the sky one.

Step 21: Take a photo of the water-filled jar and glass on the harpsichord while the room is in the sky pattern. Line it up with the star to see the green bar.

Step 22: A floating structure will appear, take a photo of it when the pieces line up, revealing the green bar.

Step 23: Put the remaining two keys into the console. Press the play button on the left.

Step 24:
Put the keys back into the harpsichord.

Step 25:
From left to right, here’s the order of the keys you want to play them in: 5, 3, 4, 8, 1, 2, 6, 7.
D-TEAM: Transporter Room Puzzle
Step 1: Before you do anything else, collect all of the cards scattered around the room. There are 13 in total.

Step 2: Go to the machine slotted in the wall, and insert all 13 cards.

Step 3: The holographic book will reveal that the wind symbol is equivalent to zero.

Step 4: Check the pink symbols above the nucleus to see the pattern: bird, bird, bird, flower, human.

Step 5: Check the panel sitting in the middle of the room, then return to the holographic book for your next clue, and a question.

Step 6: The solution to the holographic book’s puzzle from 0-12 is as follows: wind, sun, moon, human, double moon, star, human + moon, flower, triple moon, double human, star + moon, bird, human + double moon.

Step 7: Check the second wall machine and examine the monitor for the decagon reels.

Step 8: Examine the monitor again for the tridecagon reels.

Step 9: Place the reels into the contraption next to the panel in the middle of the room.

Step 10: Examine the portion of the nucleus right below the holographic symbols and key in the following symbols from top to bottom: human + double moon, double human, star, sun.
D-TEAM: Locker Room Puzzle
Step 1: Check the sinks, and drain the one on the right.

Step 2: Pick up the hairdryer lying next to the two sinks.

Step 3: Go to the lockers and open the three that do not have locks on them. You’ll receive a power plug.

Step 4: Combine the hairdryer with the power plug, bring it back to the sinks, and plug it into the power outlet on the wall.

Step 5: Examine the hairdryer again to use it to spin the fan on the wall above the sinks.

Step 6: Go back to the lockers and open the lock with four buttons. The correct color combination is: violet, white, blue, red. You’ll get the coin and the remote control.

Step 7: Go to the red contraption on the wall, and plug the left-side cable back in. Then use the coin to unscrew the panel. Turn the left switch on.

Step 8: Look for the drain lid in the middle of the water on the ground. Then press the button on the remote control to lift it and drain the water. Pick up the round piece inside the drain.

Step 9: Turn the right switch back on, and look at the open drain lid for a combination. The nine numbers from left to right, starting with the first row on the top are: 5, 4, 1, 2, 9, 7, 6, 3, 8.

Step 10: Go back to the lockers, and open the one with the nine-button keypad. The numbers you got from the drain lid will indicate the order of the buttons for you to press. Solve the dragon puzzle by turning the puzzle pieces and matching them up. You’ll get a screwdriver.

Step 11: Open the second shower door from the left side, and use the screwdriver to open the small panel on the red tank.

Step 12: Use the round piece to fit into the round hole revealed by the cover.

Step 13: Pick up the C-shaped piece, and bring it back to the red contraption on the wall. Fit it into the C-shaped hole on the right side.

Step 14: Open the first shower door from the left side and take the bucket.

Step 15: Go to the first shower room from the right side, and fill up the bucket with water from the faucet.

Step 16:
Go back to the sinks, and fill up the right sink with the bucket of water.

Step 17: Examine the left sink for a key.

step 18: Open the glass shower door with the key to get the hose.

Step 19: Use the screwdriver to unscrew the shower head in the far right shower room. Connect the hose to the shower, and this will form a connection between the shower and the music box located in the far right locker you opened earlier.

Step 20: Check the drawer, and the room will start flooding.

Step 21: Close the drain lid with the remote control, then step into the glass shower room.

Step 22: Go back to the red contraption, then press the reset button.
D-TEAM: Manifacturing Room Puzzle
Step 1: Pick up the two notes on the ground.

Step 2: Pick up the screwdriver head lying on the machine.

Step 3: Pick up the wire cutter lying on the second machine.

Step 4: Pick up the four notes, stun gun, and screwdriver grip lying on the table. Combine the grip with the screwdriver head.

Step 5: Use the stun gun on the hi-volt contactor. Activate them in this order starting from the left: 1, 5, 4, 2, 6, 3.

Step 6: Talk to the pink robot, then set the timer on the glass case in the corner. This will cause a panel to rise from the ground.

Step 7: Cut the red wire.

Step 8: Remove the screws.

Step 9: Remove the screws in this order: top one on the right, middle one on the right, bottom one on the right, third one down on the left, top one on the left, second one down on the left, bottom one on the left.

Step 10: Remove the screws.

Step 11: Cut the blue wire.

Step 12: Remove the screws.

Step 13: Cut the red wire.
Q-TEAM: Study Room Puzzle


The study is one of the many locked room puzzles Q-Team will encounter in Zero Time Dilemma. Here’s how to solve it.

Step 1: Check the desk drawer for the human mark key.

Step 2:
Open the human mark safe for the Birdman card, gun, moon key, and part D.

Step 3: Check upstairs for the Polovtsian Secret 1.

Step 4: Open the star safe for part C, moon card, and note 1.

Step 5: Open the moon safe with ‘NIL’ to get the crossbow, part E, and sun card.

Step 6: Open the sun safe with ‘EXIST’ to get part F.

Step 7: Pull the lever in the safe to activate the chair.

Step 8: Activate the chair with the code ‘S-02-16’ to get Polovtsian Secret 2.

Step 9: Open the cryptex with ‘MIND’ to get part B and note 2.

Step 10: Use the gun on the C-Team photos above the fireplace.

Step 11: Use the crossbow on the Q-Team photos above the fireplace. This will get you the grenade launcher.

Step 12: Open the safe in the corner with the grenade launcher to get part A, and note 3.

Step 13: Activate the chair with the code ‘Q-12-10’ to get the blueprint.

Step 14: Combine parts A and B, combine parts C and D, and combine parts E and F. Combine AB with CD, then combine ABCD with EF.

Step 15: Open the final safe in the room.

Q-TEAM: Pod Room Puzzle
Step 1: Examine the glass panel to the left of the gold room, and solve the mini puzzles on both ends to unlock it. You’ll get the hammer.

Step 2: Start hitting the red circles on the first panel of ground nearest to you. Your goal here is to get the first panel lopsided, and then strike the circles attached to the thinner bars of ground in order to get the second panel moving.

Step 3: Rotate the room until the next glass panel is revealed on the wall to the right. Solve the two mini puzzles to unlock it. You’ll get the driver handle.

Step 4: Continue rotating the room until the oddly shaped glass panel on the side of the wall of the first panel has been completely rotated. With the gear and the handle now upside-down, you can grab it easily. You’ll get the driver tip.

Step 5: Combine the driver tip with the driver handle.

Step 6: Continue rotating the room until the third glass panel is revealed beneath the golden door. Solve the two mini puzzles to open it. You’ll get a note, as well as the opening for you to use the large driver.

Step 7: With the large driver, you’ll now be able to turn the wheels on the golden door. Your goal is to make the number in the center fall to zero.

Step 8: Insert the driver into the hole of the contraption that just emerged from the ground. Use this to rotate the room until the green lines on the ground match up.

Step 9: The final glass panel beside the pod room button will be revealed. Solve the two mini puzzles to unlock the panel and obtain the shotgun.

Step 10: Fire the shotgun at the panel that holds the button and push it.
Q-TEAM: Biolab Room Puzzle
Step 1: Take the research note on the table.

Step 2: Examine the DNA model for the piece of the DNA model.

Step 3: Use the piece of the DNA model to unscrew plate on the machine next to the model. This gives you the cover of the centrifuge.

Step 4: Check the shelf next to it for the centrifuge manual.

Step 5: Check the sink to get the knife.

Step 6: Get the green and pink beakers on the bench next to the computer monitor.

Step 7: Put the centrifuge cover in the microwave-like contraption.

Step 8: Cut the pig cushion with the knife. This gets you the file on Fanatic Bio R, a microscope lens, and a power cord.

Step 9: Use the lens on the microscope.

Step 10: Put the pink beaker in the centrifuge to get the red and white test tubes.

Step 11: Put the green beaker in the centrifuge to get the blue and yellow test tubes.

Step 12: Check all test tubes under the microscope. Yellow cells are in groups of five, red cells are in groups of three, blue cells are pairs, and white cells are singles.

Step 13: Use the power cord on the machine between the pig and computer monitor.

Step 14: Go to the switch on the locker and complete the following button presses: the white should be pressed once, the red should be pressed three times, the blue should be pressed twice, and the yellow should be pressed five times.

Step 15: Complete the specimen puzzle, and you’ll obtain the capsules.

Step 16:
Put the red and yellow test tubes in the centrifuge to get the orange beaker.

Step 17: Put the knife inside the machine you activated with the power cord.

Step 18: Put the white, blue, and orange liquids into the machine. You’ll get the fetus specimen.

Step 19: You can now check the monitor and capsules for a hint to the next puzzle.

Step 20: Place the fetus specimen next to the other four specimens, and arrange them like this from left to right: penguin, seahorse, fetus, butterfly, root.

Step 21: Touch the device that pops up.

Step 22: Move the sink, and then check the sink drawer for the scalpel.

Step 23: Check the sink again, then move the pig sink next to it.

Step 24: Take the pig and put it on the sink, then use the scalpel on it.

How the hell to calculate where to put the specimen in the Biolab? It made zero sense to me.

@ffiinnss I had trouble with that too... it's the tall-ish white thing. Despite it seeming you can't do anything with it, try clicking around the tiniest individual buttons and it will adjust the time after speaking with the robot.

Dude, you didn't explain how to solve the puzzles itself.... For example the Flower Puzzle in the Healing room and the weird small machine on the table in the Transporter room.

D Team Transporter rooms Last Puzzle is incorrect Tested it and i keep getting failed.

What actually happens if you solve the toolbox thing? I tried it many times but never really understood what I was supposed to do in it.
