Given that I found no information about this whatsoever, I'll try to quickly summarize the general idea on how to get them gold bars to make your life easier, should you happen to read this. However, I can only give you the general idea and that is that. But it should be enough. SPOILERS obviously.

From what I've heard there's 34 bars and you'll need 33, so you are allowed to miss a single one. Generic sources of bars:



-Duels: all about being fast to draw, so pretty straightforward. Always found at the left side of town. Can be replayed if you fail.

-Bank: Every time you return to town, the bank is locked again and you need to know the code to get a bar. Turns out Duckbridge tells you the code when you pause the game, so it's not guesswork. CAN NOT BE REPLAYED IF YOU FAIL AND YOU GET ONE SHOT AT IT.

-Catacomb fight(s): A "new" boss fight every time, pretty straightforward. Can be replayed if you fail.

-Bringing prisoner/corpse back: very straightforward.



-Russian Roulette: If you have enough luck essence, you can pop it with C and then enter the russian roulette immediately after, the guy will die to the first bullet. Can also be won without using it, but at that point it's RNG and failing means death. Can be replayed if you fail (aka, die).

-Prisoner: Have to kill him in order to get the good stuff. Problem often is getting to him. Often it requires pressing C so that you can create platforms over pits or bounce on top of the train, sometimes just pure platforming.

Edit: Thanks to Dewdrop for telling this: "With the last guy, you have to press C and bounce from bottomless pits to get to him. It's a real hassle."

I made this just to give the general idea about the bars, I didn't get all of them myself due to not knowing about the trick with the bank untill around lvl 5. Supposedly all the bars unlock the "luckiest ending", would assume.
