Upon entering the game as soon as you enter the server list you will find that all of the official game servers are empty. There will only be one or two matches that use the TDM game type. GTC and Survival matches are always empty. Now organize the gametypes by clicking "Game Type". You will see that 90% of the matches (that actually have people in them) are either Free Roam or Roleplay. These are often the only populated servers on the game.

Free Roam is a mode where you are free to choose either being a dinosaur or human. This mode can be played on any map in the game. There are several Maps made specifically for this mode. In it you can do what ever you want. Most of the matches you find on this will consist of people showing off their dino skins or chatting. If one dares to be a human in this mode they are likely to be swarmed by hoards of dinos.















If you played the origininal Primal Carnage then you probably remember playing the epic Dino/Human combat that made the game popular in the first place. This mode is exactly the opposite of that. This is a mode where everyone makes up different roles for themselves and walk around the map typeing their actions in the chat. While very boring to the average person, this mode is unfortunately the most popular thing in the game.

When you join a match you will likely notice that the all of the players in the match are dinos (Because almost everyone refuses to be human). You are given the choice to be a dino and do nothing or be a human and try playing the game.


Upon becoming a human you my notice that wether you choose to be friendly or not that you are being hunted by a pack of dinos.



In this situation you're given two chocies once again.

1. Fight Back









2. Run away(let them have ther way with you).










If you have picked option two then you have chosen wisely, here's why. Unlike it's predecessor Primal Carnage Extinction has very unbalanced gameplay favoring the dinosaurs making it hard to kill them in the first place. Most players in servers look down upon humans as peasants. If a human kills a dinsaur it is murder. You may find that often the Admins(which are dinos themselves) of server will turn on God mode and hunt you down for killing their scalie freinds. So trying to fight back is delaying the inevitable.
