First of all, watch this video, it compares the usual stoppie to the technique which I'll be showcasing for you today.


Notice at 0:39 where I rapidly steer left and right, using the A and D keys (PC only).

When I say rapidly, I don't mean spamming the hell out of your keyboard, but you do have to tap fairly fast to make this work.

Remember, try to go as fast as possible, but remember to leave enough room to actually peform the stoppie itself. You don't want to have the perfect stoppie going, and then just run into a wall or a barrier.

Try this at a flat, straight area such as the Airport. Sandy Shores would also work.

You'll probably go about twice as far. This has become more useful with the Freemode events update: Longest Stoppie Challenge.

Here's just a few ways that this was a fair test:

• The same Bike was used each time (Bati 801).
  
• The Bike had not crashed in between stoppies.
  
• I started and began the braking at the stoppie each time (see below).
