Fix PS4 and Xbox controller driver

This is a quick troubleshooting guide in case you are having issues playing games.

PS4 Control and the DS4Windows driver. Duplicates inputs by emulation.
Xbox One or 360 driver. Triggers are now independent axes.

If you'd like to use a PS4 controller on PC with DS4Windows driver

  1. Open DS4Windows application
  2. Select Settings tab
  3. Check "Hide DS4 Controller" option

For Xbox One or Xbox 360
Fix 1:
  1. Open Device Manager
  2. Right Click "Xbox One Controller" or "Xbox 360 Controller" or similar
  3. Select Update Driver Software
  4. Browse my computer for driver software
  5. Let me pick from a list...
  6. Select "Microsoft Xbox One Controller" or similar. And try with each item

For more official drivers, you can download and try with all.
  • Download from here[catalog.update.microsoft.com]
  • Unzip the *.cab file to anywhere you want
  • Repeat step 6 above, but add a driver pressing "Have a Disk..." button
  • find the unzipped files and select it

Fix 2:
Disable the Vjoy Virtual Joystick drivers located in: device manager, human interface devices
