Materials Required

You will need:

At least 1 large potato (I used 3.)
Any other fruit, vegetable, metal object, or electrolyte solution (i.e. vinegar, salt water, etc.) will also work.
A Makey Makey kit (These are available from Amazon[www.amazon.com] for about US$50, but many public libraries have them to check out.)
A knife
Some extra wire
Wire strippers
Duct tape or electrical tape

OPTIONAL, BUT HELPFUL:

Wiring

The Potato

Cut the potato(es) into 13 total pieces.
Attach one end of an alligator clip (included in the Makey Makey kit) to the potato.

NOTE: I realize that there are not enough alligator clips for all of the potato pieces, you can either go out and buy more (US$5.45 for 10 from Amazon[www.amazon.com]) or jam a wire directly into the potato, which is what I did.
Attach the alligator clip to a piece of wire.
Insert the piece of wire into the socket on the Makey Makey board labeled "W"
Repeat for the "A", "S", "D", "F", "G", Mouse Up, Mouse Down, Mouse Left, Mouse Left, Left Click, and Right Click sockets, as well as the "SPACE" alligator clip connection.

Yourself

Strip one side of a wire about an inch
Attach an alligator clip to one of the connections on the Makey Makey board marked "EARTH"
Attach the other end of the alligator clip to the side of the wire that isn't stripped an inch
Wrap the inch long bit of exposed wire around your finger
Secure with something such as duct tape or electrical tape
