Yup. I hate M$-Windows. Have over 4 XP machines for games,
but over 7 UNIX machines for work. At one point, I had is so
at least 12 running machines were accessable from at least
4 set of keybaord/mouse/monitor station within my apartment
and office.
Btw... Unix is what Linux copied. Under a modern definition of
"Operating System" which includes most of the decktop, utilities,
etc, I've pretty much witten my own version of the Unix OS for my own
use.)
which case I've only written operating system fors things other
than PC's, such as modems, a custom dispributed serial switch,
and in-circuit real time emulation cards that are plugged directly into
real copies of the actual guidance system for Polasis nuclear ICBM's
in order to perform in-depth real-time analysis of the internal working of
the hardward navigation and weapons system during flight simulations,
which, BTW, technically is "rocket science." :-) ]
