For longjumping in Salt and Sanctuary you must be as light as possible.

-> Unequip everything that adds weight. (rings and charms are fine)
-> Deselect your weapon
(-> for longer jumps early on: Equip "Fused Metal Ring" for higher endurance.)



The jump:

1. Stand still, don´t move in any direction.
2. Press your jump AND roll button in the exact same moment.
3. Move now left/right to increase the jump distance.
4. ...don´t fall off.



With a longjump you can easily skip many areas and even bosses ("Kraekan Wyrm" for example).
It´s required for speedrunning. If you missed the black sorcerer and his brand you can use longjumps instead of the mid-air dash. For an easy use i recommand to bind roll+jump to one single key/macro. If you´re using a controller you can use Xpadder to bind macros for your device.
