System Shock: Enhanced Edition

System Shock: Enhanced Edition

147 ratings
System Shock Bestiary
By Osku
The complete list of enemies in System Shock, now also categorized in difficulty and type order. (Weakest in the top of each category and strongest in the bottom.)

Statistical information taken from the I.C.E. Breaker Guide Book, which is included in the Enhanced Edition.

PS. I didn't include enemies from the Cyberspace sections because they mostly die in a couple of hits and finding pictures of them without taking them yourself is an absolute pain.

Seriously, Laser Rapier is too overpowered in this game. It takes your energy, of course, but with battery packs and charging stations in any corner, it isn't noticeable. Laser Rapier is such a universal weapon. Pump yourself with Berserk packs or turn on a shield, and you can take down all enemies in less than just 1-5 hits, even Cyborg Diego .

diego goes down in exactly one hit from the laser rapier if you've got a berserk to spare. it's kind of hilarious how weak he is.

Always remember on the higher combat difficulties enemies respawn. This game will keep you on your toes.

i know its pointless, but it could be a fun to read for a couple minutes

@Halflockman It's kinda pointless to do one, all the cyber enemies take only a few hits to kill and your progression path is simply upgrading your lasers as the game goes on.

Pro tip from me, if you're tired of dealing with hoppers in the during the mining beam mission, as soon as you get access to the second elevator in level 2, go to level 3 and get the laser rapier. Seriously, don't start level R, or even the rest of level 2 for that matter, without it. Levels 4 and 5 also have useful stuff and can be access from level 3.

@FREMONT Thanks, i highly recommend playing it even if you have to use a guide next to you constantly. Especially now that they updated this steam port to utilize 1080p resolutions, modern controls and high framerate. It's one of my favorite games of all time and the replay value is great.
