Whatley Quarry

Descripción
Whatley Quarry was established about 1964 and is one of the biggest Limestone Quarries in the UK.

This route was the un-sceniced section of the North Somerset route. It now has 2 working stone loaders from the Hatchet Hill Quarry route and 6 smaller stone loaders from the Stevens Pass route. The route will still be operable if you do not have the Stevens Pass route. Apart from the working stone loaders, there has been a considerable amount of vegetation added all along the route, as well as fencing, 2 working diesel fuel points, a Locomotive Maintenance building and a Wagon Maintenance building.

For the route to work fully, you will need the following:
North Somerset route.
Hatchet Hill Quarry. https://steamproxy.com/steamstore/sub/11113/
Weardale and Teesdale Network.
AP Station pack. This is a pack that is in most routes by RSC or DTG.
MP Construction pack 01 from the Marketplace. {Not necessary for the route to work}
Stevens Pass. This is not neccesary but it does add further visual and operating advantages.

I have added some 3-aspect colour-light signals and their respective AWS ramps, between Frome Market Station and the Quarry, so some more interesting scenarios can be created. I have also added signals in the Yards, which now make it possible to have "2 AI" trains running as well as the Player train in the Quarry complex. {Then of course you can still have trains running on the line between Frome and Radstock}.

The Hatchet Hill Loader is on Loading Lane 2 and will load the following wagons: YGH; PGA; JHA and the Catfish wagons that come with Hatchet Hill. If you have Stevens Pass you can load either the YGH or the PGA wagons {only} on lanes 1, 3 and 4. There may be some moves within the Quarry Yards where you need to "TAB" or "ALT/TAB".

All scenarios from me can be found in the Workshop if you type "WQ" in the search panel. I look forward to scenarios from others.

there's a narrow gauge route on Workshop that has a link to buy Hatchet hill on steam... it still exists just very hidden

Hi Scouser888 fair enough, the Hatchet Hill Quarry was reintroduced a few monthes ago then removed, maybe it will come back again.
The AP Station Pack is not from Armstrong Powerhouse, it is a pack that comes with most of the routes produced by RSC/DTG.
The RSDL scenery pack is IIRC a standard Kuju pack.
Still the route would be pretty useless without the hatchet Hill Quarry. :steamsad:

This scenario requires too many DLC's, simply not interested. The Steam store page states that the Hatchet Hill Quarry route does not exist. Neither does the station pack on Armstrong Powerhouse. I have no idea what the RSDL scenery pack is or refers to. Thanks, but no thanks.

Yes ran like like a charm, and my complements to the chef for the bonza scenario's that
are part & parcel of the Whatley Quarry setup. Almost inspiring me to have a crack at
creating a similar scenario !?. Also impressed by the Drewry 0-6-0 a little gem, well done.
