How to fix FPS Drops / Lagg Spikes
By DaddyMvG
Hey guys I am not the first person to explain how to fix these kind of things but I was sick of playing with fps drops and I couldn't Imagine how it would be if I could play a comp game again without fps drops but I managed to do it and I am performing better.

Things U could try to do to help fixing this :
1 If U play CS:GO, try to close as many background things as possible and the most important thing is to close Chrome or any other Internet browser. This will lower your proccesor put.
2. Go to Libary and right click on CS:GO and then click on properties then set launch options and copy and paste these commands +mat_queue_mode 2 -novid -nod3d9ex -threads 7 -high
WARNING : The Threads is the CPU U use I use I7 So I use -threads 7 but I always had -threads 6 so that helped alot just replacing 6 with 7.
3. When I was doing these steps myself and went in a DM It sure reduced my FPS drop to less duration and less occuration BUT It only reduced it. Then I saw to the right top of my screen the broadcasting thing enabled message and I thought well screw this I will try to disable that and see if it will change something ''lol''. Well for crying out loud IT ACTUALLY STOPPED IT COMPLETELY. Yes U heared it right the ♥♥♥♥ broadcasting fuction that I always had enabled and never used actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up my game for me. After that I Went on a DM for 10 minutes and didn't see ANY FPS drop and U know what, It felt freaking AMAZING.
4. Some other things U could try to do is to do CLTR + ALT + DELETE and then click the task management option and look what is using alot of processing power. What was the most for me was number 1 Google Chrome by far so close that. Also if u have CCleaner don't delete it or uninstall but just close it that will help u aswell.

So to short it up for U once more
Close every unnesecairy backgrounds things as possible (Mostly Internet browsers), Steam-Libary-CS:GO-Properties-Set launch options then type this +mat_queue_mode 2 -novid -nod3d9ex -threads 7 -high WARNING : The Threads is the CPU U use I use I7 So I use -threads 7 but I always had -threads, Disable Broadcasting option by going to steam then right top of steam click steam then settings and then go to broadcasting and then click on disable broadcasting,Look what uses alot of processing power and try to fix that.

So I really really hope that this helped some of U and I just really wanted to fix this problem and I saw this was a big problem with alot of players so ye :D. PS: Sorry for any bad grammar or language I am Dutch so I can't write perfect in English
My Name is Milco v Gent and have a nice day!

If this helped U feel free to donate things U don't want to me and if u have any questions U can add me or comment down below

This is not how a CPU works.

This is not how ANYTHING WORKS.
