How to pick locks

You want to be one of those master thieves but you can't even open a simple safe, well this guide is for you.
In this guide, i will teach you how to pick every type of locks in Cobalt.

Digipads

Description:
The digipad lock can be unlocked by entering specifics characters in the correct order.

The number of characters you can enter may vary from 1 to 5.
And the total of possible combinaisons is 3, 9, 27, 81 or 243 depending on the number of characters.

How to crack it:
To unlock it, you have to get the code from a pc, dialogue or a cannister.

RFID

Description:
The RFID lock can be unlocked by earing low and high pitched sounds and "entering" it back.

The number of different sounds you can ear may vary from 2 to 5.
And the number of sounds you can enter may vary from 2 to 10.
So the number of solutions can vary from 4 to 100000.

How to crack it:
The first way to pick it is by looking at the dots when you start picking it, they will move to the left or right and you just have to put them at the right place accordingly.

The other one is by listenning to the sound the dots makes when you start picking the lock. After that you have to put the dots with low-pitched sounds on the left for or on the right for high pitched sounds.

Padlocks

Description:
The packlock can be unlocked by moving a number of lines up and down at the right place.

The number of different lines you can enter may vary from 1 to 8.
And the number of possibilities you can enter for a line may vary from 3 to 20.
So the number of solutions can vary from 3 to 25600000000.

How to crack it:
The only way is by moving every lines up and down until you see it tilting to and confirm it.
You should also be carefull when validating a line because if you miss it, you have to start all over again.

i'm pretty sure no one will see this since the game is unfortunately kinda dead, but here it goes anyway:

right at the end of Trunkopolis Enclave, in the room with the ETAC door, there's another door with a 5-character Digipad, and for many years i wondered whats in there, but couldn't find any code

but now that i know that there's only 243 possibilities (few compared to the amount of possibilities from RFIDs and padlocks) i'll try
if my patience permits me, of course
if i do try the combinations and find anything, plus if i remember, i'll edit this post and tell what happened

with combo locks, all you have to do it rotate it in one direction and it will start clicking, when you hear a double-click, stop the rotation. Next rotate it the opposite way and repeat until it unlocks. usually you have to rotate it 2-3 times.

Was wondering if the Digipads had some way to do them that I was just missing. Is there really no method to them at all, aside from brute force trial-and-error?
