Reddit Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/killingfloor/comments/431kqp/suggestion_cosmetic_gear_preset_for_each_perk/

Description:
It would be an UI only addition to the Perks and Gear menus. The idea is basically to set up a cosmetic customized preset on a specific character on the Gear menu and assign it to a specific perk. This way, you can directly load the assigned preset whenever you choose that perk. However it would be an ON/OFF option. Once you assigned a preset on Gear, you could choose to enable or disable this feature on the Perk menu. If it is disabled, you would be using the current default custom set of the Gear menu (No Perk assigned). If you enable it, you would be automatically changed to the saved preset of the selected perk at the lobby.

Reason:
Some players (like me) don't have a favorite character or just don't like to use always the same one. To avoid that, they customize their characters differently and/or change them between matches. Most of the times, these changes depend on the perk the player is going to play. There is also players that play just with one character and change its customization depending on the perk as well, for example they put a Doctor's mask on to be recognized as medics or a Gasmask for Firebug. But one always gets tired of opening the Gear menu over and over, changing the customization one by one, scrolling up, scrolling down and searching for the right item. Well, this feature I suggest here would make players save gear presets for each perk, so that they could have a customized Tom Banner for Berzerker and a customized Hayato Tanaka for Martial Artist, in a quick, handy and UI-friendly way.

PROs:

-This feature would help the game to get a more UI friendly look
- Would give players more customization options to create their own game-style.
-Would give the usage of characters more variety and make them handier. It would also revive characters unused by the player.
-The saved Presets would make the Gear Customization faster and handier.
-Would get players more interested in collecting cosmetics to build their own sets for each perk. If players have incompatible cool items or just a lot of them, why don't show them all in different gear presets?
-Cosmetic's and Character's commercialization would increase significantly. (More dosh is always good)
-Would get the modeling community and official designers more interested in doing Perk-specific cosmetics and characters. Including entire cosmetic sets for the in-game store.
-Would give the idea of doing Perk-specific updates, events or DLCs more sense. For example regarding to Medic: adding medic weapons and skins, new medic-styled character, medic cosmetics, more achievements for the perk and a Hospital map.
-Would get players more interested in getting 3rd party Games unlocks and shared content. Best example is Tom Banner as a Berzerker guy.
-Could make upcoming characters have more perk-specific voice lines. According to the lore: Ana Larive loves blowing stuff up, however that is not even noticeable in her lines. This feature could give more sense in getting closer to each character favorite perk and weapons. There could be some unique-crazy-zedkilling-climax-orgasm lines for unlock by doing a rampage with a specific perk and weapon on each character.

CONs:
-If perks are changed during a match the preset of the first chosen perk would remain. However it could be updated when the player respawns after death. (This involves new coding)
-Would make anti-zedconomy players unhappy :'(

This is a fantastic way of using all kinds of gear interchangeably. Let's have many presets and not just one.
