You not only can, you do it already. Via the custom menu everybody can copy the link to uv's and obj's and you then download them separately. So as long as you make one flag happen, everyone can and will join in...

I think that's an amazing idea! However, I cannot share the file (including the UV) file with other people.
However, I will be adding updates where I will have major country flags.

I'd like to request a simple version where the base, pole, and flag have a mod-friendly texture to it so all a modder would have to do is rip the image and can easily replace it with whatever flag texture they need for their specific purpose. I'd like to use that to make custom faction flags for my RPG campaign!
