Most Recent Update: The Skimmer[L] Class was commisioned by the UESC for personal and materials transport on the lunar surface.
This version has additional thrusters, has had the rotor based camera replaced for a camera bolted directly to the hull. The gap left by the old rotor system has been filled with an ore detector and after some minor work, a distress beacon and 3 timer blocks have been added into the rear. This latest itteration of the skimmer class can lift more than 10 times it's own weight, but for saftey reasons, It is advised not to load more than 200,000kg of cargo at any given time.

We hope to see this new Skimmer prove useful with the UESC in colonising the moon. This ship is capable of ferrying personel to their worksite, or resupplying a forward outpost as well as performing light Reconnaissance missions, using it's cargo and oxygen producing capabilities to stay in the field for extended periods of time.
