Get Momodora III to recognise your controller
The game does have controller support, there's just a weird setting you need to change.

(1) Go to devices and printers and find your xbox360 controller
(2) Right click and choose "Game controller settings"
(3) Choose your Xbox360 controller from the list and click "Advanced"
(4) It should have a pop up that says "Select the device you want to use with older programs." Choose your controller instead of "none".

That's what got Momodora III to recognise my controller.
Changing Mapping
Afterwards you can map your buttons in momo.config.ini

Go back to "Game Controller Settings" and click "properties" to find out which buttons coincide with which numbers.

Since this game uses control stick for some ungodly reason (and up doesn't even work), is there a way to map movements to D-pad even though the D-pad doesn't have numbers for the inputs?
