Humanity has always known 4 things:
Thirst, hunger, passions and violence/war.

War was, is and always will be an inevitable outcome of human situation, even if humanity fades to its last dredges.

But is it really inevitable? Humans owe to themselves and the other denizens of this Earth, to be a better species, and to be Guardians of this Earth.

"This War of Mine" is an apt title. Because the wars start and end on a personal level, even if they may impact many others, and so it is the responsibility to every human to end this needless bloodshed and exploitation, and to become a better species.

"What is war, if not an escape of cowards, from the problems of peace?"

It might happen to anyone - how true!

Yes, it is from real events. The Bosnian war. 1992-1995. It was the first genocide in Europe since WWII. 100,000+ people died. This game deals with War in such a visceral and thoughtful way, kudos to the devs.
