Controls.
Press 'S' to toggle between viewing your score and your mass.

Your biggest cell will be marked with this: [ ^ ]
  • it shows the direction of all your cells movement.
  • mass will also be expelled from this cell on it's shown direction.

Press 'W' to expel mass.
  • hold to continuously expelling mass.
  • only your biggest cell will expel mass. that cell will continue to expel as long as you hold 'w.
  • tapping it multiple times:
    • will not cause masses to expel faster.
    • will cause the current biggest cell to expel one blob of mass for each tap.

Press 'F' to use your equipped item.
  • Refer to the item guide to find out what each item does. [in progress]

Press 'G' to summon your pet.
  • Pets are tricky to use but deadly in able players control.
  • Refer to the pet guide to learn how to use pet. [in progress]

Hold Shift to slow down your cells.
  • Your cells will rejoin faster if you slow them down this way.
  • Slow down only in effect as long as you hold Shift.

Press Ctrl to stop your cells froom moving.
  • Any mouse movement, or pressing Ctrl, Shift, or Spacebar will cause your cells to move again.
  • Pressing 'W', 'F', 'G' does not cause your cells to meve again.

Press 'T' to chat.
  • When text box appear, type what you want to say and press 'Enter'
  • Chatting does not pause the game for you. Be careful.

Press 'Esc' to return to the Main Menu.
  • Returning to main menu does not end your session. Click the "Play" button to continue.
  • Changing server or game mode will end your current session.
  • Depending on game modes, you can switch gears, items and pet.

@justchillaxin24 if you want to split only one cell you need to first split, hold control and keep splitting

Is there a way to eat bubble spikes without shooting mass? (Ex. Splitting into 8 pieces then shooting some mass before eating it)

You should hold "w" continuously to non-stop feed the other smaller one. Continue without releasing "w" until expelling cell becomes really small. If you release "w", upon pressing it again will cause the bigger cell to expel.
Take note which cell has the little '<' marker on it. That is the biggest and the expelling cell.

You write about AnglerFish Mode: "feed one cell as much as possible. you should have a really big cell and one really small cell"
When I try feed myself, I only get 2 cells of the same size. Because, when one of them gets larger, it will be the new cell from which mass is expelled. Then it becomes smaller again and the other one bigger. Then the other cell is now the bigger cell and the source for expelling mass. I never reach one big and one small cell. What am I doing wrong?
