Ursine Republic Helarctos Class Destroyer

After the Ursine Republic's phase as a nation that relied solely on aireal supremacy with multiple, small, affordable crafts that worked only their campaign against the Deep Water Guard; it came after several great losses against the Onyx Watch that small aircraft and patrol boat and corvette style crafts would not work.

In their time of need, the Ursine Republic quickly retooled their massive aircraft industry to produce a long-range destroyer that would be capable of neutralizing enemy ships before they enter gun range. The Helarctos class Destroyer was born, and with the aircraft design principles that had such great success against the Deep Water Guard. The sleek hull and low profile to the water not only serve to hide the vessel, but also to serve as added protection against missiles and lasers, as all of the critical components are below the waterline.

ARMAMENT:
12x 2.5km range "Shipwrecker" cruise missiles, serves well as long range AA missiles due to high maneuverability.
24x 4km range "Blastroom" torpedoes with HE and EMP armament.
1x 3km range "People's Hammer" deck gun. 10x gauge, high firerate, high accuracy, and over 90 seconds of sustained fire. APHE rounds with every shot.
2x 1.8km range "Skyshower" twin AA gun, AP shells with every shot. Rapid fire, designed to rip apart wings and control surfaces, and can penetrate shields (not 100% of the time, but it's still there.)

DEFENSES:
16x "Smart Troll" flare array, spreads flares over a 2km range around the ship to confuse incoming missiles.
24x "SCRAM" anti-missile array, destroys missiles that the flares distract.

Forward facing shields to deflect incoming fire, Strength 10 over critical parts, Strength 9 over others.

Smoke dispensers to confuse incoming laser-guided missiles and to mitigate laser damage (fires in stacks of 2, covers vital components and most of the ship)

The flare and interceptor missiles can cover a medium sized fleet due to how wide of a range it covers. The interceptors are fast, cover short distances quickly, and the flares glide into and destroy missiles.

Nice ship. Strong, fast hull for the cost. I like the stone in the lower hull, that's a great idea. Good weapon systems too. Some suggestions for improvements though. It runs outta ammo very quickly, so some ammo processors would really help. Also, you would benefit from a slightly beefier engine. It has trouble charging that enormous battery at any reasonable rate. Solid build all the same. :)
