Party Mode
Party mode is all modes at random unless you uncheck a mode. Party mode doesnt give you a whole lot of customization options so you will most likely be rolling with the standard settings for each mode.

Speaking of settings, this guide will not cover the whole variety of settings you can tinker with in each mode. It would probably be smart not to tinker with them at all if you are new. There is so many things you can change that you can pretty much break the game.

My first deathmatch
This mode is a plain and simple deathmatch and probably the best thing to start your screencheat experience with. All you gotta do is get a certain amount of kills before anyone else does and you win.

Strategie:
Dont camp or hold back. If you dont get those kills quickly someone else will. It doesnt matter if you die often as long as you also kill often so grab your weapon of mass destruction and get in the fight. My favorite tactics with many players are randomly running around and slapping everyone with the chandelier or racking up multikills with the trappeur.
Capture the fun
In this mode there is a pinhata (dont care how you write it) somewhere on the battlefield. Your goal is to hold it for 80 seconds. The pinhata also works as a melee weapon and slapping someone with it gives you an extra 10 points meaning you have to hold it for 10 seconds less, which is a lot. If nobody posesses the pinhata you will see a pinhata symbol floating around somewhere. You can approach the pinhata and take it with the button you set for taking things (standard F on keyboard and X on xbox one controller). If there is no symbol floating around it means someone has the pinhata and has to die before it can be taken again the pinhata carrier will have confetti lines flying behind him and be easyly visible for that reason. The pinhata willl spawn as close to the corpse of the former carrier as possible and can be picked up immediatly.

Strategies:
If there arent many players the pinhata will probably not switch owners very often since you can prevent death easyly. I reccomend using quick shooting weapons like the blunderbuss or the sniper. No melee weapons. Try to find a pattern in the carriers behavior and kill him when he cycles through it another time. Sometimes you dont have the luxury of waiting if there just arent many people in the match in which case you will have to try to come from a side that will let you collide with the carrier based on his current direction.
If you are the carrier run like hell. Constantly click that attack button since you might get lucky. Dont be predictable. Choose as many things that bounce you to other places or generally let you go very far very quick as possible. Sometimes it can be smart to wait a few seconds if you know someone will fall in smacking distance after bouncing after you, but other than that you should always be on the move.
Hillcampers
In this mode you will have to stand in specific zones for a varying total amount of seconds. These zones are easy to find, having a hill symbol above them and having a visible border around them. Is nobody standing in a zone it will be coloured white. If there is somebody in the zone it will be coloured in that players colour, meaning he is getting a point every second. If there is more than one player standing in a zone the colour changes back to white and nobody gets points. The zone moves to a different place after a bit so you will always be on the move. This can result in you spawning in the new zone, in which case you are lucky and get some free points because noone can knock you out fast enough to prevent it.

Strategy:
This mode is managable with not so many players, but absolute madness with 8 or close to 8. If there is so many players that it is absolute chaos just rambo in there and hope you are lucky enough to hold the zone for a second or two until you die. I like using the trappeur vor multikill potential but the chefolet is also pretty useful because it can kill massive amounts of people just by runing around in the zone while charging it up. Using the chanedlier and desperately slapping the zone free can be a viable tactic no matter the playercount.
If there isnt all that many players I reccomend using the blunderbuss as you can often put a shotgun blast in pretty much the entire zone. And standing in the zone you wont be completely defenseless. However someone with more range might take you out without problems, so again the trappeur (it just is my favorite weapon) is a good choice since it is good both for offense and defense. Weapons like the grenade launcher can clear a zone but wont do you much good once you try to defend the zone.
Gold rush
This mode is a lot like the one combat mode for Mario Kart on the Wii. There is coins strewn all accross the map and you collect them by walking through them. Once the timer runs out the person with the most coins wins. If you die you lose part of your coins and they can be picked up as close to your corpse as possible. The coins are visible and shown with coin symbols floating above them, so they are very easy to find.

Strategy:
Play it like capture the fun. Try to be the one with the most coins as quickly as possible and then run like you were carrying a pinhata, with the added bonus of not only still being able to fire, but also not carrying pinhata stripes behind you, meaning you are harder to find and kill. I reccomend the blunderbuss and the sniper, simply for being quick firing direct hit weapons with range. If you kill someone with a blunderbuss in this mode it means there is coins popping up very close to you which you can immediatly grab. If you see a coin dissapearing close to you and it wasnt you who took it shoot in its direction immediatly, as there will be a player carrying coins closeby.
Juggernaut
In this mode one player is the Juggernaut and everyone else is a filthy peasant. Only the Juggernaut gets a point for killing somebody. This mode can only be played with 3 or more players.
The Juggernaut gets a Blunderbuss as a weapon, replacing his current weapon. Sometimes the game is glitchy on that part and you might get the weapon you used before becoming the juggernaut. The juggernaut doesnt have any extra power, he is still a oneshot with the weakness of only being able to use the blunderbuss. The person playing the juggernaut will have rainbow static lightning effects surrounding him on his screen, so he is easy to distinguish when looking at the screens.

Strategy:
If the weapon switch confuses you enough to get you killed you should roll with the blunderbuss. Otherwise I reccomend anything with longer range than the blunderbuss. You should also not be afraid to just run in for the kill and probably die if you are not the juggernaut since you have nothing to lose. As the juggernaut try to hunt a specific target and always watch who is getting dangerously close to you. You can play the long game, since as long as you are the juggernaut noone else is going to win. So safety over points. Alternatively run around like you were carrying a pinhata and shoot whenever you feel like it.
Elimination
My favorite one and probably the one the announcer announces the most cheerful.
In Elimination you get a point by being the last player alive. Until someone gets a point everyone who is dead stays dead.

Strategy: Let the others kill eachother and when its down to a 1 vs 1 be the better player. Of course if you can get a kill get it since it is just one person less that might kill you. Remember that it is a 1 vs 1 at the very end, potentially you will get involved in the action even before that, so pick a weapon you think you would perform best with against the best player on the field.
Bombs away
In this mode there is one or more bombs on the battlefield depending on the amount of players. These bombs are visible and have a bomb symbol hovering above them. They can be picked up like the pinhata and used as a melee weapon like the pinhata. You can drop them and the pinhata with the same button you pick them up with. If a bomb is set at a players flag and not defused within 10 seconds the player who owns the flag dies and doesnt respawn until someone is the last survivor. The person who set the bomb gets a point. As soon as a player has a certain amount of points he wins. It doesnt matter if he is the last survivor, as soon as someone is the last survivor there is just another round started until someone has the points neccessary to win. A bomb can be set by anyone at any flag except the own and defused by the player who owns the flag. The flags are stationary and coloured and have a coloured symbol hovering above them. Respawn times get longer the longer the match goes on. Defusing and planting each take a couple seconds but defusing will stop the countdown. Dying while defusing will make it go own from where it was. Defusing a bomb will make it randomly appear somewhere else. Killing a player carrying a bomb will make the bomb appear as close to his corpse as possible. This is probably the most glitchy mode, some of the bugs can be gamebreaking with there being no bomb or all flags having the same colour so tread with care.

Strategy:
Unlike elimination you cant play the waiting game here. Much like deathmatch someone else will rack up points and even if you beat him in a 1 vs 1 that might still mean 2:1 for him simply because he killed enough other players. If you see a player defusing the bomb and you didnt plant it but know who planted it look at the score of the person who planted it and who is trying to defuse it. If the person who planted it has a lot more points than you or would even win with that bomb going of you should not kill the defusing player and potentially even protect him from other people trying to kill him. Otherwise let him die particularly if the defusing player is leading in points. Defense goes over offense, so if someone has set us up the bomb at your flag drop the bomb you have and run to defuse as fast as possible. If its a 1 vs 1 and the countdown on the bomb that will kill your enemy is lower than the countdown that will kill you ignore the countdown that will kill you and just make sure the other guy doesnt defuse. At the flags your weapon choice is crucial: if you have to defuse there will be a player waiting in shooting distance to prevent you from dong so, potantially he will make sure you cant shoot him without taking to much time and dying from the bomb. (This is a tactic I reccomend btw, best and most evil thing you can do) So you might want to take a weapon that makes sure noone can camp and wait for your defusing attempt. The wallhack can be a wonderweapon if you know how to use it. Since there is symbols hovering above each flag you know exactly where to shoot when someone tries to nuke you or defuse his own bomb.
One Shot
In this mode every weapon gets one shot (4 in case of the sniper). Once this shot is fired players cant reload until either all players fired and have to reload or until a timer runs out. Otherwise this mode plays like deathmatch. On standard settings players are given a specific weapon and all players have this weapon. This can get pretty annoying with for example everyone using and missing with a grenade launcher on an open map.

Strategy:
Since you dont select your weapon you should just hope it is a weapon you are good with. Since the points work like they do in deathmatch you dont want to be overly careful, since you are defenseless until you can reload you shouldnt just start shooting, so its a mix of careful and daring. Make sure you shoot before the countdown runs out since otherwise it is just a missed opportunity. If you think there is a good chance you will hit someone take the chance since you probably wont get another one before the countdown runs out. If you have the sniper you can be a bit more careless. Just make sure you have one shot left for when you need it.
Murder mystery
In this mode you are given points for either killing a specific player or using a specific weapon or even doing both at once. You have a set of cards on your screenthat you can hold up to look at them. They will tell you whom to kill and what weapon to use. The weapons are strewn out all across the map and can be picked up by walking over them. If you fullfill your mission you get a new one and need to pick up a new weapon since the one you had will disappear. If your target dies before you kill it you will get a new target. Everyone can see the cards you are looking at.
If you die your missions change

Strategy:
You should seriously try to fulfill all the requirements. This is generally the quickest way to get the most points unless you are forced to use a weapon you are really really bad with.
The general playstyle otherwise is like deathmatch, try to fullfilll those missions as fast as possible with no regards for your own life or other players mission. Consider however that literally everyone might be out to kill you and if you have a weapon and it is live or die fire it since you get a point if it is the right one.

At least out of my experience, I've noticed that in several modes (mainly murder mystery), the longer the game goes, the more wreckless people get with their shots. At the start of murder mystery, people will mainly try to go for their target and use the right weapon. As points start adding up (and people are added to the game), though, people will tend to blindfire a lot more, in the hopes of getting a kill on the right person.
