The Little People Room
Location: Prologue-D (First Contact)

A room with some shrunken people, hidden in the middle of the TCT room.

After you defeat the holograms in the TCT room, you're asked to return to the area next to the entrance where the doors will close on you. A group of marines will run out of the door on the right side, and this is how you access the Little People Room. Your goal is to get back inside the doors before they close.

The easiest way to do this is to open the console (Tab key) and type "badass" to unlock all your psychic powers. Equip Timeshift, back into the room, and dash toward the doors as soon as you cross the trigger that closes them.

Once inside, you can enter the center hallway and access the Little People Room. There are four displays with different animations and another group of people hanging on top of the door frame. Note that there's no way to leave this hallway once the door closes behind you.

The legitimate method of unlocking this secret is still unknown. Here's what Mike Rice (level designer for the game) said about it:

"There is also a HUGE soldier down there. i believe the easiest way to see these rooms is to complete the training sequence, and on the way back take the right path, then jump in the air under ceiling decorations starting at the furthest down the hallway (heading toward the marine cutscene) and working BACKWARDS, then going to the other tunnel and do the same. i also made the staff room secret on the seeker ship. there may be other scripting, its been so long ago... i might be wrong with that description to get in there - a few triggers are placed high in the hallway for this secret, jumping into them the only way to trigger them. the exact locations and order however have been lost to time :( the huge soldier might have been removed, he would be in the other room here. I dont remember if i removed the secret from the last part of the outside seeker ship. seems like i had a high path in there at some point, we hid a lot of places for the contest-"

Warp Pipes 1
Location: Chapter 1-B (Hostile Negotiation)

A set of Mario-style pipes that take you to 2-A, 3-A, or 4-A.

After you drop Ethan off at the escape pod, you need to press a series of buttons in a specific order. The first two are in the first room, one of which is behind some lockers you have to destroy (1). The second is behind a pillar directly opposite of the lockers (2). The third is past the doorway located in the center of the room and around the left side by the fire (3).

Much later in the level past the hallway with the escape pods blasting off, you'll stumble across a similar room to the first one. You'll find two keypads in a similar orientation to the first two, pressed in the same order (4) (5). Then once you reach the catwalk above the civic center, you should find the last on a doorway (6). Turn toward the hotel bar and you should see a big rainbow bridge creating a path to the second floor.

You'll find a single blue pipe embedded in the floor which will teleport you to a brick room with moving platforms. At the end are three pipes, which from left to right lead you to 4-A, 3-A, and 2-A.

The Headcrab Scientist
Location: Chapter 1-D (Hostile Negotiation)

A scientist with a wiggling headcrab from Half-Life on his face.

Right after you save Olivia and kill the Seeker General, ride the elevator down to the science lab. On the left side, you'll see a pile of rubble over the doorway you went through to get to the elevator before. Just crouch under the debris and the scientist will be on the left.

This was also where the first Race to Save Humanity icon was located.

Warp Pipes 2
Location: Chapter 4-B (The Awakening)

A second set of Mario-style pipes that take you to 5-A, 6-A, and Epilogue-A.

Note: These are not accessible in the PC version.

After you land on the Seeker Destroyer, destroy the conduit next to the elevator. Underneath the conduit is a console (1), which you can't activate on the PC version because the trigger is missing. Past the first laser cannon, there will be another conduit on the right side next to the doors that contains the second console (2). Once you've activated that one, leap up to the higher alcove above the extending bridges for the third (3).

Continue through the level until you see another alcove with a conduit on either side. The fourth panel is inside around the corner (4). The last two are off to the side of the last extending bridge, again hidden underneath some grey bulkheads (5) (6). Activate the one on the right first followed by the left one, and the door immediately across from the bridge will open to reveal a single blue pipe.

This brick room is different in that the platforms will rise beneath you to form a path to the pipes. From left to right, the pipes will take you to Epilogue-A, 6-A, and 5-A.

The Staff Room
Location: Chapter 4-E (The Awakening)

Developer portraits, a ninja with a guitar, and some weird music.

After you've finished off all the Seekers on the Destroyer's bridge, you'll be asked to go down to the hangar bay to help Enorym. On the way, you can find three hidden panels that will open a locked door to the Staff Room.

The first is in a wide area with four beam generators and multiple Shock Trooper mechs. Opposite of where you entered over on the right side, you should see a bulkhead above an outcropping. Blow up the bulkhead and charge jump (hold Dodge + Jump) to leap up and activate the panel underneath (1).

Next, immediately after you defeat two Seeker Elites, you'll come across an armory with Seeker weaponry along the wall. On the right will be a locked door, above which will be an empty space that you can jump up to. Blow up the conduit to find the second console (2). Finally, after you've traversed the red horizontal beam room, you'll find a wide door with a noticeable gap in the floor. Drop down and look for the orange panel on the back end of the second support pillar (3).

Now backtrack and you'll find the door next to the red beam room has been unlocked. Inside will be the faces of seven developers with a console underneath each of them. To unlock the second secret, you'll need to activate the consoles in the order shown:

Alternatively, if you number the consoles clockwise from the entrance of the room, press them in this order: 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 7, 1.

This will activate the last portrait (Donald Mustard again) along with a spinning ninja holding a guitar.

The Moving Platforms Room
Location: Chapter 5-F (Crossed Lines)

A strange room tucked away behind a locked door.

The easiest way to access this room is to enter through its exit. Look for an odd balcony behind the conduit on the right side. Point your crosshairs at the door there, open the console (Tab key), and type "teleport" to warp yourself up. Normally, you would access this from the locked door on the right in the room with the double turrets, but it isn't possible.

Leap onto the panel over the pit and it will rise up into the air. Other panels will start to fly into position, forming a temporary bridge for you to walk on one piece at a time. If you're quick enough, you can make it across the gap and arrive back at the balcony.

This room is almost guaranteed to have been a location for one of the Race to Save Humanity icons, the million dollar promotion for the game. The balcony overlooking the level at the end indicates that an icon would be spinning here, leading players to look into how they could reach it. You would likely download a trigger that would open the proper entrance to let you in.
