First off, we have what are called "Tier 1" and "Tier 2" Weapons

You should learn the stats before you start playing.

Pistols, a good back up, if you know how to use it/them.










































"Tier 1" weapons:
Pump Shotgun, great for taking out hordes and special infected fairly easy. *Ignore the L4D2 Stats*















































Next, we have the Uzi, great for long range, though less damage than the shotgun.













































Next up we have "Tier 2" weapons.
We have the M16 (Assault Rifle)
Unlike the uzi, M16 Has very good accuracy when crouching or just standing still. Therefore, making it much easier to hold off hordes and to get headshots. Not to mention how well it takes out special infected.
Only taking 2 bullets to the body to take out 1 zombie, and 1 to the head, its very efficient.



















































Now, the Tier 2 shotgun, M1014 (Auto Shotgun)
An extremely upgraded version of the Pump Shotgun. Holds 2 more bullets. More damage, Extremely high fire rate.










































Last, but certainly not least, the Mini 14 (Hunting Rifle)
Honestly, i do not find this very useful except in hordes. Very Situational, If you run into a room with 19 zombies, you're most likely going to have to pick them off one by one, slowly.
Only upsides to this Tier 2 weapon is its incredible accuracy, and high damage.
It really all just comes down to personal preference. Though it does have a scope you can zoom in with, and while zoomed in perfect accuracy no matter what.

Starting off with the hunter. Easily takin out with headshots and easily timed shoves to get him off you when he leaps. Nothing to be feared, that is, unless you're far from your team.




















































The Smoker. Meh. Do not fear him. He has a slow response time to seeing you, and when he DOES manage to grab you, you will still have a split second before you're counted as "Pounced" and can not do anything to help your self. You will need a teammate to kill him, shove his toungue, shoot his toungue. And never EVER Forget: ALWAYS SHOOT HIM IN HIS HEAD.
















































Lastly of the SI. The boomer. DO NOT GET CLOSE. When ever you hear him "gargle" get as far away as possible, then shoot, the closer he is to you, the more likely you are to ♥♥♥♥ your self over
Some things to note on the boomer:
Needs at least 2 shots from any weapon to kill
Though you may not realize it, you can still shove him when he is vomiting on you, without actually getting vomited on and drawing a horde towards your self. Take this scenario

You walk around the corner, you're too late to shove him.
He starts the vomit animation, you have a split second to shove him before his attack is actually executed. Thus, no horde! Yay =D!

There is a difference in the range of which, vomiting on you, and exploding on you, can reach you.

Say hes 4 feet away. He vomits on you. Sad
Now hes 4 feet away again! And he explodes. Yay! No horde!





































































Common infected.
These guys are just your average joe zombie. Nothing to worry about unless you're alone in a horde.
Some things to note about them:
They're damage is as follows:
1 Damage on easy
2 Damage on normal
5 Damage on advanced
20 Damage on Expert













































Now, the witch. DO NOT ♥♥♥♥ WITH HER. Ignore her. and keep going. what you should do is the following:
Have 2 people run past her, wait for her to cool down, then the next 2 at the same time. OR, You could try all 4 survivors, but this is risky, and i am not sure if this will work without her getting startled.
If you DO Need to kill her to get some where, do the following:
"Cr0wn" her, this means shooting her with a shotgun. Recommened shotgun is XM1014, But pump shotgun is a little riskier with its lower fire rate and damage, but you can still maanage to pull it off if all the pellets hit.


If no one has a shotgun, liting her on fire with a molotov or gascan, (if you have one) and all 4 survivors shooting is your best chance at getting past her succesfully.

Another tactic is to put an explosive near her, this will stumble her, giving you time to shove her and shoot her.
Note: She will instantly kill you on expert and realism.
Note: She CAN NOT be crowned on realism.

Finally, the "Tank"
This guy should not be feared unless you are getting crowded by a horde. In which, this will give him plenty of time to knock you down, since the horde will be slowing you.


Tactics:
Light him on fire with a molotov or gascan, run then shoot
Note: When the tank is on fire his spead increases
His speed increases to yours when on fire.

All 4 shooting him with any kind of weapon can kill him in about 20-30 seconds at most.
Other than that, he is easily takin' care of.

Map layout, is everything.
If you're in a place such as this (Good paint skillz, amirite?)
You're kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥.







However, if you are in a place like this tho (No mercy rooftop stairs layout)
You will have a much easier time defending.

Moral of the story is, pick a good place to hold out when you need to, not a place where they're coming at you from all sides, then some.

Pipe Bomb
A White tube that when thrown, attracts zombies then explodes.
















Molotov
A Bottle that when thrown, causes fire to be spread for about 15-17 seconds
















Med kit, this item gives you back 80% Health, and does not decay.
There are 4 within the saferoom/starting area, one for each player of course.


















Pills. These bad boys give you 50 HP, But decay over time.
Disposable health basicly.
