What is a raffle?
A Raffle is a lottery

The "X" in this text means the item you enter with. It's diffrent from raffle to raffle. Some raffles like to use Keys as main slots other rafflers like to use Trading Cards

You pay a "X" amount to get a ticket. You can buy more than one ticket in most raffles. The winner will be drawn when all slots has been filled. Those who don't win will not get their stuff back, they wont receive anything.

A raffle is NOT a giveaway. A Raffle is a lottery. In a lot of Raffle Groups both things will be posted so don't confuse yourself.
How do "I" find a raffle to enter?
A Raffle can be entered through the announcements the group makes. Every time the group makes an announcements it will pop up in one of the 4 corners of your screen, doesn't matter if you're in-game and not in-game

A Raffle usually follows the structure below(It will be different from each Raffler)

  1. It shows the cost of what the different entry prices are.
  2. It shows the prize of the Raffle.
  3. It shows the tradeoffer button, you use that to enter the raffle.
  4. It shows how many slots there will be in total.
  5. It shows a link to where you can see the slot list and follow the raffles growth.
  6. It shows which group the winner will be announced in. You don't have to be a member of that group because the raffler will add you anyways, but it would be best for both parts if you are a member of the group.

Here you will see an example of how a slot list might look like(This will be different from each Raffler)

Some rafflers let you choose the slot number you want, but just a good tip is to write in your tradeoffer that you don't care which number you get because some Rafflers don't allow it so it doesn't create confusion.
How do "I" enter a Raffle?

If you want to enter the raffle you will have to click the BUTTON. When you click the button it will open up a window, where you will place your entry item/items. When you add the item/items you can also provide the Raffler with a message if you need to.

Don't put the item/items thats being Raffled in the tradeoffer.

DON'T DO THIS EVER. DON'T BE THAT GUY.

These offers will be rejected if we can't send you a counteroffer. If we can send you a counteroffer we will do it then you can feel free to decline or accept. If you accept you will be entered into the Raffle as fast as possible
"I" entered the Raffle, what now?
Now you will have to wait untill all the slots are filled up in the Raffle. When thats done the Raffler will announce the winner in his own group.

While you are waiting for the Raffle to end you can still enter with more slots if you want to.

When the raffle is filled, the raffler will use a third-party tool to draw the winner of the Raffle. The most common site/program used is https://www.random.org

Once the Raffle is over the winner will have 1 week to respond, this might change from group to group.

This is really important.
DO NOT ASK FOR REFUNDS AFTER ENTERING A RAFFLE

You will not be able to get your items back after entering.

This is an example taken from our own group when we announce a winner:

Thats all you need to know.
That is basically all you need to know before entering Raffles.
