FAQ
How do I get the Operation Bloodhound Coin?
The Operation Bloodhound Coin is obtained by activating a Operation Bloodhound pass on your account. You can buy a pass of the Steam Market Place or directly in the CS:GO main menue.
Once you have bought the pass you will find it in your CS:GO Inventory. After activation you will find a bronze coin in your inventory.

Until when does the operation run? / How much time do I have to upgrade the coin to gold?
The operation will end on 30th of September 2015 (GMT-7). However, every single operation up until now has been extended for a minimum of two weeks.

Why should I upgrade the coin?
Why shouldn't you? You do not have to upgrade the coin of course but when you buy the Operation Bloodhound pass you can try to get the most out of it. A gold coin looks better than a bronze or silver coin. Additionally: You upgrade the coin by earning stars. You earn stars by fulfilling operation missions. For fulfilling these missions you also get XP and thus (for the first rank up of the week) skins as a reward.

I only got three/two missions dropped. How do i get more missions?
When you buy and activate the Operation pass you are able to complete two missions right away. Every day, your pool of available missions will increase by one. A countdown timer will show you how many hours are left before you can play a new mission.

I had a mission that told me to get a certain number of kills with a certain weapon in a certain game mode. I did it but the mission is still open! Why?
To fulfill a mission you have to play the entire game. That means that you cannot just join a casual game, get for example 6 shotgun kills and leave. You have to play until the match is over in order to make it count!

Do mission drops count towards the weekly drop total?
No.

Do bot kills count?
Yes, as long as there is at least one other human player on the server.

Do chicken kills count?
Only when the mission text states that they do.

Have you changed the fastest way to upgrade your coin? If so, why?
Up until the first players reached silver it was unknown how many stars you needed to get gold. The old guide showed you how to get all stars in the minimum amount of missions. Since the first players reached silver it has become aparent that you only need 14 stars for gold so I updated the guide. However, if you followed the old guide until yesterday you can just switch to the new one without losing any time. You will still be among the first ones to get silver and gold!

When you buy it after the operation has ended you will be able to activate it and get a bronze coin but you won't be able to level it up to silver or gold or to play any operation maps or missions.
