Ship Name: The Business End

Description : Kang the Shrewd always had an eye for a good deal. So when he and his crew found a pike class frigate floating in a asteroid junk yard he made an offer; and when the offer was rejected he stole it. After all when you leave a reactor and a functional heavy thruster in a decommissioned long range artillery frigate its like telling you to just take it for free anyways.

Kang removed most of the Inner Planetary Alliance Navy's redundant systems and sold them for parts to a rival junk dealer and set about putting his own design flare on it. Having always been enamored with the ships of old earth he converted the upper bridge area into a replica of the Queen Ann's Revenge. When that did not inspire terror in his marks he added enough guns until cargo ships would simply dump their cargo and run. One way or another the Business End has a way of closing a deal.

Like all IPAN ships the Business End is built with redundant systems. The ship can still function even after the nacelle arms, forward and bridge have been completely destroyed. In fact if the forward gantry is severed separating the forward section form the rest of the ship, the forward section can fly and fight independently. Assuming its backup reactor and gyroscopes still function. The main engines and reactors have auto repair functionality to keep them functioning as long as possible.

The Pike class frigate serves as a long range artillery for fleet action. Its main weapon is an extremely large mass driver cannon that can send a small projectile through a dozen layer of armor, poking holes in o2 envelopes, disabling engines and reactors. The stock vessel comes with 8 quad gun turrets and 4 minotaur turrets for fighter defense. Kang has added 40 122 mm broadside swivel cannons 6 200 mm swivel cannons, 4 assault turrets and 3 massive Mark three assault turrets.
