I don't deny the attention to detail is marvelous, but they defnititely skimped on the textures. I guess thats what makes it so backwards compatible (older hardware), so I guess it isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'll wait for the texture mod. Also, I trust my eyes, not other peoples.
