PLEASE READ THE BOTTOM OF THE DESCRIPTION!

I have created this mod to change the experience players have while playing in Europe. This mod will add more diversity to the western region of France and make HRE members able to expand beyond their fellow imperial nations.

What it does:
This mod releases all the nations that are situated in the French region. None of the nations included are new to the game. I have attempted to balance the amount of provinces each nation has so expansion isn't reliant on size and larger nations won't be around to dominate. This is far from hsitorically accurate.
This mod, un-alike it's sister-mod, does include each of these nations in the HRE.

Why use this mod?
Because when playing in Europe players often feel scared of France and therefore there is little chance of attempted expansion into the French area unless your nation is huge. Now you can picture the French region as an extension of the HRE and conquer the small principalities in fair war. It also extends the empire itself bringing the might of imperialism toward the iberian powers.

I hope players will decide to use this mod as I feel in a long-term game this will be game-changing and will give each campaign more diversity, especially as the game proceeds and the empire develops.Thank you for checking this out! Ah, well I stopped updating all my mods a little while ago. To be honest, I am no longer familiar with modding the game as it has been a long time. I believe that I would have to edit the province files again to fix any bugs and issues, however at this point I am really only looking to update the supported version line at the most, which will only say it has been updated in teh launcher. I'm sorry to dissapoint you but unless there is a real 'want' for the mod to be updated, I do not feel it is worth updating anymore, espescially as it would reqiure a significant amount of time in a period of my life where I really need to be focusing on studies.
Thank you for using this mod before and I hope you enjoyed it. You can update it yourself if you know how, and even place it on the workshop if you'd like.

Are you planning to update this mod when Rights of Man comes out? Also currently all the provcines in france have base production 0 appart from those added after 1.14, which are not properly HRE.

Sorry that I didn't get around to doing it yesterday but i'm having major pc problems. I think i've fixed them now, however, so the update will be coming within the next hour. And Lambert, I would like to add Burgundy, sure. I could always make a seperate mod for it and post it so there is an option as to whether a person wants Burgundy free with france or just free france.

In the meanwhile be sure to check out the other Freed Up France mods I have. The Daimyo one can create interesting (albeit short) games :D

Sounds awesome. Could you possibly add all of Burgundies lands to the HRE too? I remember the last time I played Burgundy wasn't a member state
